We need the best attacking midfielder Ive seen in a Saints shirt since we came fouth the top branding valuation company

Hesketh

I think we need to just try a few games without Redmond starting.

So, was our penalty a penalty or not?

Defo a penalty and we should also have bene against 10 men… I say that neutrally as I wear TENA for men so do not lose emotional control

If you’re not emotional at football then when?

Redmond was pants. We looked much better (relatively) when Boufal came on.

Thought Yoshida was fouled in the build up to their first goal.

Tadic anonymous again. Not even sure where he plays anymore.

Lemina excellent again.

Thought Shelvey looked good for them.

Forster’s kicking makes me want to murder kittens.

I said all this ages ago, we had the easiest start and we’re shit, what are the baord saying? The manager? Reed?

Nothing, closed shop, tight ship and get the twitter boys on 20,000 a year to throw out a few shirts and tickets and wey hey we’re fucking tremendous.

Bantonem pannonium liberales colors.

Great solid battling display.

Yawn.

Good point. I mean, it’s not as if he did anything of any use in the game, like supply the cross that Tadic headed lamely over the bar early on, or hit the pass to Gabbiadini that led to our first goal. I’m not saying he’s brilliant, and I’m not having a go at you personally, but it does seem to me that an awful lot of people are only capable of noticing the bad bits and none of the good.

I’d rather see Boufal start than one of Redmond and Tadic, but I’m not sure which one.

He may well have done those things, but they don’t make up for being generally ineffective for quite a long time now. I think we are worse when he plays. Neither Redmond or tadic are particularly effective, but tadic does have a bit more about him than Redmond. I’d prefer boufal over the pair of them.

Redmond is a good player but someone has coached fear into him so his 1st instinct is to turn away from goal or hold the ball up. That breaks momentum.

He doesn’t do it every time just too many times so we notice it.

Forster also looks over coached like he is trying to remember what he’s been told to do rather than naturally doing stuff

Boufal can be infuriatingly inconsistent but at least looks to go forward. Long & Radix just look to have no confidence.

When the fans got going passion finally took over from playbook and we looked much better.

Time to kick science out and focus on passion and adrenalin and play from the heart

Listen, is that close enough to a win for me to not have to start the next match thread? What if a draw is as close to a win as we get? I can’t start every single match thread for the rest of the season… I might want to go on holiday at some point.

Uh no.

Carry on.

At least we haven’t got a 4 page thread demanding a managerial sacking.
