Politician accused of being part of 'VIP paedophile' ring

Bump.

Some big news on this, along with the predictable establishment reaction.

If Ted Heath were alive today, he’d be questioned under police caution for seven historical offences. There were over 100 allegations from 14 different plod forces.

The Conservatives have been on the radio all day, protecting their late mate, damning the investigation with complete disregard for any potential victims.

We have learned nothing.

And we never will.

To quote Pete and Dud. Funny he never married.

Read a blog on this - no way I could/would have copied a link to it.

The fact someone could post that much detail and allegations without fear of libel laws was most telling.

The more his mates defend Heath the more my utter contempt for "ruling classes in democracies grows

Plus more coming out today about Asaian abuse groups with some claims almost 1 million kids affected by it. Yet again no official stayements

Regarding the allegations against Heath, it is amazing to see the establishment furiously rallying round to attack the police for even investigating him. Presumably they should have ignored the numerous complaints against him.

So we are expected to believe that numerous adolescents, from different parts of the country, all conspired together to make it all up. I don’t think so!

The coverage has been disgusting, and the politicians that have defended him have not shown the merest bit of curiosity as to whether children were actually abused by a person with so much political power.

I’ve posted this video before, in this very thread.

Worth a revisit, I reckon.

Hmmm (Yes I know you hate opoening Fail links but worth a read - snippet below

Mike Veale has spent two years being assailed by the Establishment over his investigation into paedophile allegations against Sir Edward Heath.

The Wiltshire Chief Constable has had to bite his lip as mandarins, ex-Cabinet Ministers, Tory MPs, peers, members of the judiciary and media moguls lambasted his controversial Operation Conifer.

He was accused of being ‘stupid’, leading a ‘witch-hunt’, and told he would be forced to resign the moment it saw the light of day.

It’s obscene in 2017 that people behind the scenes in senior positions can still wield sufficient power to get investigations stopped or disrupted.

And on a basic level it’s even worse that these people care more about power, cash and the fucking honours system that they do about kids getting raped.

I put the former BBC management in that one too - they knew about Savile but they cared more about ratings, then they went home to their own families without seeing the vulgar irony in them protecting a monster.

So one former PM would be up for police questioning, while it seems another completely ignored questions raised on Cyril Smith.

Paxman getting grilled.

That’s really interesting for all sorts of reasons. That Dutch chap is incredibly cool throughout. When’s this from?

First off, if you’ve not read my Twitter feed, get out of my head, @fatso :lou_sunglasses:

The Newsnight show was going out in 2011, according to this.

I have used internet skills to determine this.

12th September 2014.

The Savile story broke in the winter of 2012, so that’s almost two years.

Not sure why folks keep using the term ‘Establishment’ - seems more like a combination of denial (as is common amongst the non-abusing parent/relative) and gross negligence and dereliction of responsibilty. Paxman is awful. Its clear he knows he has fucked up but knows that admitting this would potentially be career suicide… its that preserving of self at both individual and institutional level that seems to have fucked an moral compass they have had…

I find it hard enough to stomach that no one felt it was a duty to speak out about Saville much earlier and save many from his hideous predation, but I just dont get the subsequent desperation to pass the buck… Paxman would have had much more credibility is he had said - we made ahuge mistake, end of. The problem is that because Savilles behaviour went unchecked for so long ‘despite rumours’ - I suspect there are huge legal reasons why many at the BBC refuse to accept any liabilty… when doing so and being fully transparent is the ONLY way in which any organization can recover from such things… same with the Tories rallying round… fear again given the legal consequences if the allegations were proven and it became clear that others knew and covered it up…

If folks just told the fucking truth when they became aware of these things, it would all be avoided… and whats more critical is many victims would have been saved from having tehir lives ruined by such monsters.

Telling "the truth is easy.

Proving it is the truth in a court of law is very different.

You can’t speak out without proof because in law YOU get hammered for Libel.

That’s not an excuse but it isn’t easy to make allegations which helped keep these things covered up

It’s because the establishment has been complicit in having this covered up, and remains so to this day. Traditionally, it has done so for its own ends. Fortescue’s matter of fact comment about small boys is both chilling and telling. He makes it clear that leverage over politicians is more important than any sort of justice for the victims.

The BBC should rightly come under criticism for housing Savile, and not investigating claims more vigorously, but I wonder whether the decision was made there. Let’s not forget that Savile had access to Prime Ministers, Royalty and the Vatican, during a time of Cold War, when you’d think that people would be thoroughly vetted, and during a period where his activities were an open secret. You can’t tell me that no-one told Thatcher the actual reason her requests for his knighthood were denied, on any of the four times she was knocked back.

With reference to that Paxman interview, I watched the whole thing on the link where I clarified the date. The bit about the dropped Newsnight interview is even more jarring when you hear Paxman earlier in the interview and see the warm reaction he’s getting from the crowd at that point. He completely changes style when the interviewer raises the Newsnight episode.

The BBC is complicit, but far more powerful institutions have tolerated and protected paedophiles. We’ve seen institutions that are supposed to protect children set them up for abuse. As vile as your average nonce is, they will never be able to misuse those institutions the way the establishment can.

Really not helpful when people make stuff up for true victims of abuse.

If that’s what happened…

Very convenient case to dismiss all the other victims. You’ve got to wonder why the CPS took this on with such vigour.

Barry Bennell gets another sentence added to his long list of convictions.

No wonder Crewe produced so many good youngsters. Poor cunts were probably playing out of their skins to get away from this nonce cunt.
