I watched that yesterday…it’s an interesting story as is this recent video of Tudor House…

I loved Tudor House when I was a kid…poorly lit with creaking, uneven floorboards and that musty smell that suggested, ectoplasm or ejaculate…or both. :lou_lol:

They used to hold Southampton Music Festival in Tudor House. How they got the Steinway from the Art Gallery up those tiny little Tudor House stairs is beyond me. Then they had to bring the fucking thing back down again two weeks later :confounded::smile::smile:

According to that video history the place was about to fall apart before the restoration. A concert grand would have gone through the floor. :open_mouth:

It’s not quite a concert grand, it’s 7 foot rather than 9, but I take your point. They held it there for a good few years though, having previously held it in St Andrews opposite the Cowherds.

Took some pictures of my mate Nick’s beautiful 1956 Karmann Ghia Coupe this morning. This one at St James Church, Bossington Park, near Houghton in black and white. Beautiful car, beautiful setting.

Fortunately our estate isn’t so far out of town but it’s a pretty spot all the same.

She looks a bit sheepish about the massive dump she’s clearly just taken.
