Away Supporters

Saints fans will be housed in between the South and West stands at White Hart Lane. Turnstiles are open approximately 2 hours ahead of kick-off and supporters are advised to arrive early due to ongoing construction works.

Getting There By Car

Leave the M25 at Junction 25 and take the A10 towards Enfield. Continue on the A10 through Enfield and at the roundabout with the Northern Circular, turn left onto the A406. Turn right into Fore Road, which becomes the High Road and you will come to the ground on your left.

Car Parking

There is a Controlled Parking Zone around White Hart Lane and extremely limited parking so supporters are advised that most journeys will be quicker via public transport. Find out more here.

Getting There By Train

White Hart Lane Station is the nearest to the stadium, and is just a few minutes walk away. It is served by trains from Liverpool Street. The nearest London Underground station is Seven Sisters, which is on the Victoria Line – though it is around a 20-minute walk from there to the ground.

Coach Travel

Coaches will depart St Mary’s Stadium at 9am, Eastleigh at 9.15am, Winchester at 9.30am and Fleet at 10am

Southampton boss Puel wary of Tottenham firepower despite Kane absence

Show/hide article…

Southampton boss Claude Puel remains wary of Tottenham’s firepower despite the absence of Harry Kane.

Saints head to White Hart Lane on Sunday to face a Spurs side missing their 19-goal top scorer through injury.

But Puel knows only too well about their attacking prowess after his side were thumped 4-1 at home by Tottenham in December.

Dele Alli scored twice that day and Son Heung-min was also on target along with Kane.

Puel said: 'Of course Kane is an important player for them, but they have other solutions, with Son, Alli, (Vincent) Janssen, (Christian) Eriksen. They have many offensive players of quality so they can do without him.

'It’s a good game, a good challenge for us. A difficult game, but we like this game, the possibility to see if we have made progress since the beginning of the season - and since the winter when we lost at home to them.

‘They were superior then and now it’s interesting to see our progress.’

Puel has his own in-form striker to give Tottenham something to worry about in the shape of Manolo Gabbiadini.

The Italian has scored six times in his first four Saints appearances since his £14million move from Napoli in January.

But Puel says there is more to Gabbiadini than goals and saluted his all-round contribution since his arrival on the south coast.

‘The profile of Manolo was interesting for us because he’s a clinical player,’ he said. 'But it’s not just his goals, it’s a good player because it’s easy to play with him.

'His movement in the box is interesting. He’s always available for his partners with good technical quality in the control and the pass, and to combine with him is good. I don’t know if he can continue to score in every game because it’s difficult.

'But he can give a confidence for all the players, like you saw with Nathan Redmond in the last game at Watford, and all the players like Dusan Tadic and James Ward-Prowse.

‘And for all the other strikers in the squad to see him and to play with him is interesting and will give confidence to all of them.’

Puel could bolster his defence by handing a first start to Martin Caceres.

The former Barcelona and Juventus centre-half, brought in on a free transfer last month, has completed two full under-23s matches to build up his fitness and is now in contention.

Fleming: A good experience for the boys

Show/hide article…

Saints were beaten 1-0 away to their Foxes counterparts, despite having the better of the chances in difficult conditions, with the game played in a swirling wind and, at times, driving rain.

Fleming was impressed with how his players fought through the elements and also the direct style of their opponents to play some good football.

“It was a tough game on a windy day against a very direct team, so it was a different style of play,” he said.

"We started the game brightly and first half I thought we did well. We had the penalty miss and then good chances after it. It probably turned the game a little bit.

"I think if one or two of those go in, which on another day they would have done, then the game changes. But it was just a scrap and a battle.

"Disappointed to lose the game, but it was actually good for the boys to experience a different side of football.

“Overall I thought they battled really well, coped with what they threw at us, matched them in terms of their game plan and then obviously we tried to play in possession.”

The result meant the Under-18s’ winning streak ended at four matches, and Fleming says there has been a lot to be proud of over recent weeks.

“It has been great,” he said. "I said it last year that results are nice, but it’s not the be all and end all.

“It’s the boys’ development and, if you look at the start of the season and where we were as a group and where they’re at now, they’ve made great strides individually and collectively.”

It’s a good challenge, says Puel

Show/hide article…

Southampton boss Claude Puel says a trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League is exactly the sort of challenge his players want.

Spurs are unbeaten in their first 14 home top-flight league games of a season for the first time since 1964/65 and will no doubt provide a stern examination of Saints’ credentials.

But after back-to-back away wins, Puel is hoping to avenge the defeat at St Mary’s earlier in the season to make it three on the spin.

“It will be a difficult game of course. They have stayed winning 10 games at home and that’s a long time,” said Puel.

“I hope we can stop this situation and it’s a good challenge for us. We like these challenges and our players go into this game with ambitions.

“We will see the qualities and it’s a good opportunity to see after the first game against Tottenham if we can progress to win against this team.”
