Can I suggest that our bug be renamed Gregor Samsa? Before Bletch smothers poor Bertie with one of his lurid shirts (a fate not even the vilest insect, or even Jamie Vardy, should have to endure), I’d like to see him honoured with a literary reference. Bertie that is, not Bletch - Bletch has many literary references to his name, but my sensitivities don’t allow me to enumerate them here.

This site does get a little Kafka-esque at times, but who would you like to kick off the naming with, not Gregor Samsa obvs…

Well, you won’t believe it but last night I answered a knock at the door about 6 o’clock and stood there is an enormous bloke dressed in a beetle costume. Antenna and wingcasing - a proper costume. Anyway I asked him what he wanted and he slapped me round the face and called me a loser.
