That’s it

I see from social media today that Eddie Jones has called up JWP for his first England cap.

I have still not seen what he did was it good?

Shithousery of the highest order.

Thought yesterday could be our best result of the season.
Ralph tried something and failed. He got complacent thinking Stephen’s/JWP would replace a proper RB & CB. It showed where he needs to add to the squad (Jones/Ramsay)?
It showed the quality of thought of Armstrong to break down a defence vs pace of Sims and as I have been banging on for ages, showed PEH, JWP & Romeu are too similar in central midfield and what a fit (& leaner ffs fat git) Lemina will bring in that role.
So a good result educationally for Ralph.
Still cant see us getting anything at Watford, again too much pace & muscle in their midfield but confident we can get 4 points from last 3 games

Not sure there was anything complacent from Hutch there?

I thought I heard Vestergaard was injured and Valery came down ill on the day. Selections and formation were dictated by that weren’t they?

I reckon unchanged and without Perez having ‘one of those games’ we’d have got something from that. Everything Perez touched turned to fucking gold yesterday.

Even when he beat Bertrand to that ball played across the goal (which Bert shouldn’t have allowed, BTW) he managed to somehow hit it into the ground at the only angle that would have bounced over Gunn.

Bastard.

Complacent - thinking JWP Could play RWB.
Complacent - thinking Stephen’s is still an EPL 90 minute player.
Complacent - keeping Sims in the team against a tight deep counter attacking team
Sims is learning, he isn’t a fit for every game some teams and grounds we have to fight, Warford will be one of those, Wet Spam we can dictate more openly.
Basically, he should have brought a RWB into the squad from the nippers as cover for Valery (or even had Targett on the bench but guess he is injured).
Lessons learned
Armstrong and anyone but Stephen’s/JWP at RWB to start v Watford

Yeah, just don’t agree with the suggestion it’s complacency. It suggests a sort of unthinking arrogance and I don’t see that.

I see two enforced changes - one on the day of the game. Not sure calling upon an unblooded youth teamer on the day of the game would have been any less ‘complacent’.

Instead, he calls upon his player of the year in JWP and our only experienced centre-back. That’s logical for me not complacent.

According to the football expert on the steam I was watching, Alan Curbishley, he did that on purpose
