I’ve only heard of 2 of them, will they be missed?

About as much as genital warts.

For those of us who haven’t had genital warts could you elaborate on how much this is on a scale of one to ten? One being ‘I miss them deeply and wish they would come back’, 10 being ‘I miss them a little bit and live in hope they will return but I’m not checking everyday’.

They can get to fuck, they’ll never get in again, red tory traitor bastards.

That’s a bit harsh on genital warts, I would suggest that better hygiene would stop them returning.

I may be a bit thick here as I don’t understand electoral law but won’t they now have to have a by-election? Surely they’re now on a different ticket to the one they were on before…

They should.

They won’t, because they’ve a cats chance in hell of getting elected without name recognition, and all disrespect intended, they’re not as famous as the Gang of Four that fucked off to form the SDP.

Nope - you election the person not the party. You can recall an MP but it require a percentage of the constituency electorate to sign a petition

Out of interest, when the old gang of 4 set up the SLP, what was the impact on the Labour Party at the following GE

Come on CB. Answer yourself

I think Emily Thornberry is on to something. It is being suggested that one of their tactics will be to stand in marginal Labour/Conservative seats at the next election to split Labours vote and ensure a Conservative MP is returned. She called them out on it and they refused to comment. I detect the hand of Blair/ Mandelson behind this. I also doubt if they will be the last to resign, it will be a drip drip, choreographed set of resignations just as it was during the ‘chicken coup’ attempt to get rid of Corbyn as leader. Let’s face it, that is what this whole charade is really about. All of these seven voted to block an inquiry into the Iraq war, the ones in Parliament at the time voted for the war. They voted to bomb Syria. They didn’t vote against austerity. The list goes on and on. All of them have ties to the LFI, accepting payments and largesse from the State of Israel. Luciana Berger especially is a disgrace, today stating that the Labour Party is now institutionally racist and anti-semitic under Corbyn’s leadership. Despite all evidence showing that anti-semitism in the party has fallen during his leadership. Time for the party to sue her. Get it out in the open, force her to prove her claims. Then she would have to admit that of four cases where people have been convicted of anti-semitic abuse against her, all have come from people on the far right. This whole sorry nonsense is purely to stop a party leader who is sympathetic to the Palestinian cause, and is not afraid to call out the apartheid rogue state of Israel for their crimes from becoming Prime Minister of this country. That is their No 1 priority. They are bought and paid for by a foreign state. There was a time when this would have resulted in them having their collars felt by Knacker of the Yard and charged with treason.
As for the feelings of the overwhelming majority of Labour Party members and supporters, genuine socialists, i suspect today they are experiencing that wonderful feeling you have just after having a much needed really good shit.

See, maybe I am a dreamer, but I (hope I) am not the only one

but can someone please enlighten me as to why these things are so filled with spite and malice as opposed to folks recognising opposing views etc… I want the Labour Party and (all parties) to stand up and say "we will NOT tolerate anti-semitism, as we will not tolerate any form of racist, or sexist, or homophobic abuse… but FUCK YOU Israeli government and your apartheid ways…’’

Then I want the labour party to not be like the Tories, and state their feelings on Brexit and allow those who don’t agree to leave with dignity… after all its divided many people, families and even football forums, so not surprising its divided parties to. Because we have to acknowledge that old style political idealism and modern global pragmatism are often at odds with each other so to expect folks to ‘toe a party line’ on such huge issue is too much imho.

To me apart from sucking US cock and going to war, Blairs biggest piece of arseholeness is that he has shat on any chance of folks believing in party evolution and in effect split the Labour party between those entrenched old school socialanistas and those accused of being closet tories… The Tories have bigger brass necks… and just pretend nothing has changed despite their party being split between sad old cunts lamenting the fact they cant still have their peasants flogged, the blue rinsing Daily Mail brigade who are so happy with their blue passports yet still wish they could beat up the ‘sodomites’ and the utterly contemptible out and out capitalists cunts who have now morals or ethics at all… and dont give a fuck

I think you’ve a lot mixed up there, Map. I don’t blame you. The Labour Party has certainly been several different animals over the past four decades. Blair’s Labour and Corbyn’s Labour share little but the name and the factionalism, except Blair’s faction is a screaming vocal minority.

In a balanced media environment, both parties would have had massive scrutiny for their internal practices.

The Tories have had MPs that to my knowledge, have invented death threats to smear critical constituents, knowingly let a complete cunt of a bully operate in their youth group, eventually driving one young man to suicide before anything was done about it.

There seemingly isn’t a week that goes by without some idiotic Conservative yokel doing an idiotic Conservative thing, the tent-clearer cunt in Cardiff being just the latest obvious example of all the compassion they lack. A balanced media would be giving them merry hell for the misery their policies are causing.

And yet, that’s not what the media focused on. Instead, it willingly participated in one of the most chilling campaigns that I can remember, which has taken Ken Livingstone and Mark Wadsworth (who founded an Anti-Racism group in 1991), both pals with Mandela, out of the Labour Party. For being racist.

The Labour Party has no particular call to answer widespread charges of anti-semitism. Many of the charges, such as the Livingstone case, are completely baseless, no matter how much the fucking idiot John Mann might have shouted in his face. The small amount of cases under investigation has been amplified beyond belief and are also part of a complete lie of omission.

The Tories don’t even bother to investigate this shit. Who among them would care?

I am not sure anything is mixed up… smear campaign or not, so much in politics is about perception and sometimes folks just need to tell it like it is… The fact that no one is prepared to publicly shit on the Government in Israel just occludes the issue… and confuses the fuck out of many voters… its easy to dismiss 7 resignees as insignificant traitors… but they make some question… smoke without fire etc…
