The car or the driver? If the latter then it certainly wasn’t Lord Slowlane.
I like to think I AND my car are classics.
The Classic cinema was put down years ago.
That was because of the sticky seats because they showed too much soft porn, not because it was worn out.
You went there often then?
Deadly Weapons.
Incidentally, anyone know how she got her name?
(Somehow, she doesn’t look like a Morgan.)
Added to the fleet yesterday, drove it back from Cambridge today.
1994 E30 Touring. I’ve wanted one of these for years.
Why? 🤷🏼
Back in 1980 I worked for a company in Winchester. Although I was usually allocated the Minivan, being easily the most junior member of the department, one of the company cars I occasionally got to use was a 320 saloon. That would have been an E21, but they’re either rotted out or prohibitively expensive nowadays. They also had a Talbot Alpine, but it was the BMW I always hankered after.
Back in the sandpit days I went to a Car Rental Company sale looking at a Discovery and ended up buying a high mileage BMW 520i for peanuts.
Best Car I’ve ever driven and tbh over there didn’t have the same stigma as in the UK
Fvckity fvcking fvck
Who said a Hyundai would get expensive?
Car’s been misfiring bad LPG hasn’t helped ( fvck you Putin).
Today? New LPG filter & tune, oilchange all the filters, ignition coil, new rear light bulb
140 quid.
Bstds
I did, remember?
None of that stuff needs to be Hyundai original equipment. Oil filters, coils, bulbs etc, and the LPG conversion unit, would all be available from independent factors. But, when you need something not produced by anyone except the manufacturer, that’s when your eyes will start to water.
This looks practical.
Yeah I remember the first incarnation of that car, it caught fire and was rebuilt as the yellow monster.
Sent to me by a mate in Finland, from the American Car Show in Helsinki recently.
A Jetsons styled Saab 96.
its on ice so dont expect to buy one
