Maynority government

During the debate, one Tory MP, Heidi Allen, criticised the arrangement between her party and the DUP, saying she could “barely put into words” her “anger” at the £1bn deal.
Ms Allen, who also criticised the Tories’ general election campaign, said she wanted to put on record her “distaste for the use of public funds to garner political control” and warned that “never again” should a government prioritise spending in such a way.

While I applaud the sentiment and comments, it’s all rather meaningless as she has voted with the government on everything so far. Grow some balls!

saddest bit is that so many people in this country voted for firefighters and nurses to be shafted.

I have been on the planet many years but I can’t recall a more despicable Government other than Thatchers.

I see bitch face and her band of fuckwits are now ‘re-considering’ student tuition fees.

Some would say this is adopting Labours manifesto pledge.

Some would say this is a cynical attempt to regain the youth vote mobilised by Corbyn.

I reckon it’s lip service and will be abandoned quicker than the review of the 1% pay cap.

Is this a new Tory tactic? Say, yeah I know we look like right cunts but look, we’re thinking about changing tack. Nah, not really. Suckers!

Marr’s intro this morning.

“Labour are acting as if they’ve won. Perhaps more importantly, the Tories are acting as if they’d lost”

Gove - a puppet of Murdoch, a man who sucks up to Trump, and adopts lying as his default position.

For me he is probably the worst human being in the cabinet.

And unluckily for him, his smug face also looks very punchable…

I think I said “as long as he doesn’t run anything”

He’s a slimeball. Can’t believe he’s enviromental secretary. How he or Hunt remain MPs when they fuck up every position they take is above me. Weak boss I guess.

In the case of Hunt, I think he’s doing exactly the job he has been sent to do.

It’s just not the one being advertised.

If you want to shaft nurses I suggest you go to Dubai where they are willing to do things like that. The fire fighters I am not to sure about.

I see BoJo is joining quite a list of Tory MPs who think they should reconsider their viewpoint on the pay cap.

Shame they didn’t vote that way last week every single one of them.

If the Tories want to make the change they will want to do it on their terms, not on a Labour amendment.

I see what your saying but doesn’t that smack of a little bit of childishness, plus it also makes them look like cunts who can’t make their minds up.

I agree - but i suspect that feels better to them than having John McDonnell give it large about changing Tory policy

Boris saying something just to please people is nothing new.

I’d be more impressed if he actually believed in things, rather than just surfing between popular causes as they blow by on the breeze.

The Tories need to calm down and stop panicking. Cameron & Osborne made a fundamental error in talking up austerity but not explaining to people that the milder it is the longer it’ll last. We’re still a long long way from the public finances being in a place where we’re capable of dealing with a downturn.

Despite what Brown claimed, there will always be a bust. I don’t blame labour for the last bust, but I do blame them for not having the economy in shape to deal with it. The Tories are in danger of the same thing. Our deficit is too high & our debt is too high. With interest rates at historic lows & the Government printing money they have no levers left to pull when the bust comes. When it comes, and it will come, our debt interest will rise, our tax take will go down & our welfare bill will go up. We will not be able to loosen fiscal policy and therefore the austerity we face then will make the past 7 years seem like a golden period.

The need to crack on with their mild form of austerity to save us from something much much worse.
