If someone kicks a ball around and wears a replica football shirt does that make them a top level professional footballer? These people aren’t Nazis even if that’s what they fantasize about. Throwing this label around is unhelpful and reductive, reducing people to emotional response rather than properly considered response.
It also plays into a contrived media narrative that has been built against Trump, by people such as Clintons allies. Who do not forget, are murderous cunts as well, who’ve caused far more suffering than trump (so far) and these racists.
I would like Trump gone, but replacement with another Clinton or Obama is not an acceptable solution.

If Hitler had not facilitated the killing of millions of people, would the term Nazi still invoke the same emotional response that it does. I think not.
The word therefore has power and should be used responsibly by politicians and the media. The power of the word is currently being used to push an agenda. Well yes, Nazis have their own set of circumstances and their own place in time so in a way what you say I’m saying is correct. However, I also wouldn’t necessarily see a problem in applying the term by way of comparison to another group of people who had committed a henious crime. I guess It doesn’t have to be gassing and it doesn’t have to be jews, but I would say the crime would need to be of a similar nature and magnitude for the comparison to be a reasonable one. Nothing Trump or Bannon or the people in Charlottesville have done (so far) comes close to the horror inflicted by the Nazis.
