Couldnât bear to look at the scores during the match - just stayed in the garden with the grand-dog.

Its unusual to say after a 4-0 loss, but Bazuma was undoubtedly our best player, couldnât be faulted for any of the goals and made some vital saves to keep the scoreline semi respectable. Iâm not too disheartened, this City side will put more than four past a lot of teams this season.

I love how losing 4-0 with 0 shots on target isnât considered getting thrashed because itâs against City and because weâre Southampton. Weâve set the bar somewhat lower!
