It wasn’t me
And here was me thinking the Germans needed to invade Paris before any of these shenanigans could go on.
How wrong I was.
the French are always on strike
IE: there military in 1939 drop your guns and run son was the word.
You may have seen me make this comment on FB but as I said there, I prefer British Bulldog to the French version.
So France will be the only nation in the EU basically letting its citizens retire at 62?
Who’s paying for that?
I can’t see that happening as much as I respect the demonstrators, if you can retire in France at 62 on a state pension they’ll fund that via taxing the workers down the line.
No escaping the fact we’re living longer so retirements cost a lot more.
My old man retired at 55 with no effect to his state pension until he got to 65 and he then blew it on a dozen beers down the pub.
He is now 84 and still has more rum than me and goat put together
Why would a state pension be affected if he reached the maximum threshold and also had a private pension to live off until he received his state one?
This is about retirement age and when you can receive the state pension isn’t it?
