I donât disagree with that, written by a marxist by the way it is written but nothing wrong with that, the forgotten rural society also vote for Le Pen and are anti EU, theyâre desperate and pension reforms havenât really hit France yet, wait till that happens.
So it was well worth liberating France in the 1940s then? 
Whilst any state/police brutality against its citizens whether during lawful protest or otherwise should always be condemned, we should maybe not forget that our own record in such matters is hardly glowing⊠from Wapping, Miners strike, poll tax⊠plenty of equally nasty examples as we are seeing in France⊠indeedâŠ
