Looks like we’ve sold about 6000. That’s pretty fucking decent for a midweek trip up North.
Pretty sure Bletch was referring to Cherts’ neck of the woods, Sim.
He’s got some very dodgy neighbours by all accounts.

Good, you out for a pint?
Yep. Arkles, I reckon.
Coo not into town before hand? I maybe seeing some people in town, what time you up there?
I probably won’t get back from work until just before six. The problem with town is that Anfield isn’t in it, which means taxis and truncated drinking time.
Cool I’ll meet you up there in the Arkles, it’ll be fucking rammed mind.
Oh yeah, i really need to eat before drink or i’ll sleep through the game.
Meet up in town with any that fancy an early drink and then off to meet pap and Barry(and Chertsey). Ding ding.
They’re all posting on TSW, propping up the establishment. They’re camped outside Chertsey’s house because they share the oft-quoted suspicion that Cherts is a self-loathing leftie, and secretly wants to leave it all behind and join a musically oriented weaving commune.
Come to think of it, the whole Chertsgate thing was a bit Kylo Ren.
“I can be bad!”
I am off down South at the weekend to see Frank Bruno do a talk funnily enough, along with McGuigan my favourite boxers.

Presumably time in taxi is offset by lack of queue in establishments further afield?
What do I know. I’ll be drinking in town. If people tell me where I’ll try to get there pre-kick off. If we win I’ll also be there post-match.
Funny you should say that. I have mentioned a few times recently that I’d like to just sell up and move to the country, become self-sufficient. But the the missus reminded me that I’d fucking hate it, so I’m going to stay here and burn poor people to keep my car warm for me in the mornings.
“You know what I mean Barry…”
I’ll be in town but not too sure what time and where but I will defo meet up for a bevy, I’ll get a cab up later to meet Pap, loads of good pubs in town but Ship and Mitre for real ale is a belter, the Jack and Swan are also brilliant for a pint, loads really.but Dale St end is far easier to get up to Anfield by train (Moorfields) bus (fuck knows the number) Queen Square or cab from around there.
I want to meet up with you Barry. You can be our tour guide for city centre pubs
Just had a look at that Ship and Mitre. Not sure I need to go anywhere else.
There are loads of proper real ale pubs in Liverpool, Belvedere,Kavanaghs, Baltic Fleet, Grapes etc etc
There is no place like it for the beer, seriously I am not joking it is a great place to visit for the weekend, friendly as well.
Is there a Brewdog?
Gutted this is midweek.
I’d love to be coming out to play.

Ten a penny them and about as original as any brand pub/club, ok but not much soul.
