Koeman at Finch Farm with his agent?

From what I’m hearing #SaintsFC fully expect Ronald Koeman to be in charge for at least next season. No change in his situation as it stands

This is as much fun as Rudi Skacel signing

I don’t understand why people get excited and take for gospel tweets made by people they’ve never heard of before.

Koeman can stay or he can go. Nothing will get in the way of my masturbation, and at the end of it all, that’s all that matters.

That may well be true as he under contract, I doubt it though.

The ‘new saints manager thread’ on TSW is hilarious . I am forever a Sotonian

The sad thing is, I dont feel anything really as its same old Saints - no fight, no passion in the board room. Is it wrong to miss Lowe for at least calling the thieves 'North London Yobbos (cunts in private)? With Ralph its ‘how can we help’…

He’s off, for sure. Shame, but we’ll move on.

Before he came to us, Poch was an average manager. Before Koeman came to us, he was also average. It’s the club structure that is what makes us tick, not the managers talent.

What they talking about, Everton’s new stadium?

This seems a little screwed up! Koeman not spoken to Everton, but Southampton talking to Everton?!

It’s disappointing that you’ve edited this and it’s still awful. Please try harder or don’t try at all.

Dear Mr So… if you do bring up your masturbation practices on papsweb Koeman leaving goodbye page, then it is only fitting that we honour you for doing so with an epic poem. If it does not please you, I can only assume you lack a cultured eye and ear and are an ignoramous.

And Bletch liked it and he knows his kultjar so thats good nough for me.

And what difference did Lowe’s little witticism make? Did we get to keep hold of Hoddle through the sheer eviscerating force of his epigram? It wasn’t ‘at least’, it was all that he did and all that he could do. Lowe made a slighting remark about Spurs, Hoddle went there. Big win for Rupert there.

And do you really think that, had Cortese not left, Pochettino would have stayed in spite of Spurs whispering sweet nothings in his ear? He’d have gone, Cortese would have had a hissy fit. But Pochettino would still have left.

One other point, though you might think it nitpicking on my part. Ralph Krueger is the non-executive chairman; as such he doesn’t run the club in the way that Lowe or Cortese did. Maybe it’s just me, but I do find it irritating when people talk about Krueger as if he’s in the same position as either of those two were.

Koeman may stay, he may leave. I notice that the BBC web site quotes his agent as saying that he (Koeman) hasn’t actually spoken to Everton. ‘Talks are under way’ could mean anything or nothing. Anyway, here’s the link to the BBC report. As it so happens, I realise I’ve posted a link to the self same BBC report that you have. Did you read it?

Yes - and their report has been edited since … Now calm down. I am entitled to think Ralph is a plonker should I chose to. I just find his talk rather insincere and typically BS buisness speak nonsense, and I hear enough of it from US colleagues each day to recognise it for what it is. Sure, there are boigger forces at play that govern what will happen, and most clubs can ultimately do nothing about it but its this annual need to rebuild that will ultimately fuck us over - simply because in the prem you need to get better every year just to maintain your position.

I just dont see the club looking to explore how it can create an environment that is more attractive.

Of course Lowe’s comments had fuck all effect, but at least he said what he felt in public and did not hide behind some nonsense attempt to pretend our business model is built to deal with this every year… because I ask myself Why is it built on this assumption?

You do know that the neither club have confirmed that talks are going on between the 2 clubs…

Yep, but when has that stopped a good old dose of speculative argument? Is papsweb not a virtual boozer? Is it not Friday night? are we not entertained?

You’d have thought that Complete Bollocks Fry reached his “managerial suggestions nadir” when he said he wanted a version of Tony Pulis here. Nah. New depths have been mined.

Would have been a good fit, would have got on great with Uncle Les.

Whoever we get will be a decent name with decent calibre. Or Eddie Howe.
