There’ll be a US presence in the middle east for as long as they want to be there for their own interests, no one will push them out, if they go it’s because they want to.

The question is how long will they want to? They’ve helped to create some of the most dangerous places on the planet, formerly civilised places now breeding grounds for violence and extremism.

You’ll be telling me Sunni and Shia were mates before they arrived…

BBC News - Kimia Alizadeh: Iran’s only female Olympic medallist defects

Can’t blame her.

When this happens you know regime change or a huge change in policy will happen sooner rather than later.

Does that video show that?

It might show students around the outside of the flags but it doesn’t show students refusing to walk on them.

They might be refusing to walk on them, BTW, my comment is that I can’t tell from the video. Did the article provide evidence?

Probability, what do you think?

There is no opposition or central cause at the moment.
The revolution had a ready made leader & cause.
Regime change now is what US & their puppets want but it would just be a mess and IF succeeded Syria Mk II on a bigger humanitarian scale as Russia & China angle for positions

It would seem the Iranian regime have played their own part mainly as opposed to others concerning a possibility of regime change.

Well I’ve narrowed it down to the options of ā€œyesā€ and ā€œnoā€.

Do you have a view?

It doesn’t matter, according to @Fatso

I’m glad someone else thinks it does.

It doesn’t matter, the causes of the crash weren’t caused by Trump they were caused by the Iranians, you can say if Trump didn’t act then this in all probability wouldn’t have happened but you can’t blame a fuck up on a fuck up.
Every action on its own merit.
