It’s getting farcical.
When do we start making a list of all the players who will put in written transfer requests, and when they start being received.
As to the last, I suspect that next Monday will see the first batch of transfer requests going in - unless they have already started, with those players sent to sit on the naughty step.
A few claiming to be ITK now calling the separate training thing bullshit. Who knows?

I was going to raise this the other day but ultimately couldn’t be arsed. But are there actually any credible sources on the whole ‘Selles and Jones had a scrap and DCC got involved’ narrative?
To me that sounds way too convenient in explaining why arguably our best CB (of the moment) has found himself turning out for the reserves despite only missing one game because of suspension. The fact he didn’t play against Newcastle in the second leg is undoubtedly strange, especially as few will argue that he didn’t take one for the team with that second yellow. Not doing it left the statistically worst goalkeeper in Europe in a one on one situation with St Maximan and the team facing going to Newcastle needing 3 goals.
So it occurs to me that fans are possibly trying to explain his omission with this story. When in actual fact the truth lies in an even simpler answer. Jones didn’t play him because Jones is a clown. Evidenced by his love of Janny B and Lyanco.
I hate this thread - I come onto the site and see 10 unread posts and think “Yes, they have finally pinged the cunt” and then open the thread and nothing…

I heard from someone who got to talk privately with Directors after the event. Semnems seed to say Jones was a mistake but he had little influence
The others think Jones has to be given a chance with the new players.
Very worrying resignation about the likelihood of relegation but confidence they are financially secure to survive/recover.
Rasmus and Kraft got quite stressed and surprised at the strength of fan feelings.
I listened to the recording - well, mostly - I gave up listening well before the end.
As an outsider, I was concerned that the team captain and the manager were conspicuous by their absence. If they were concerned about what Jones might say, they could have told him in no uncertain terms to keep his gob shut.
I didn’t feel that the questions were really answered, and the whole shitshow left me rather depressed about the future of Southampton fc.
The excuse that they thought Jones should have a chance with the new signing was bullshit - he hasn’t used them yet, instead preferring a full back with no prem experience, and a not very good centre back recalled from loan because we wanted rid of, and of course putting Theo Walcott on as an impact sub!
Of course, he was forced into these actions (by the fans?), so it can’t possibly be his fault.
As far as the fan base and all the pundits, idiots though they may be, is concerned, I can’t see a way back for Jones.
