So back to thread title and it would seem the Brexit argument was won. So maybe move on from this one and go argue on the ramifications thread now. I am getting a little bored of people needing to have the last word on it which just continues arguments but not debate.
This is can only go well.

Not enjoying the personal stuff, but enjoying the different opinions.
I’m not seeing too many down-votes.
If I do then I’ll first try to steer the contributors.
Just the kind of comparison I expect from yourself. Stay classy.
Says the man who boasts of his reputation for risque and un-PC comments.
???
It’s not a classy comparison but I agree that it’s similarly not sound reasoning to regret the decision.
The tone of the message distracted from the point.
edit: unless a key reason you voted remain was because you found their behaviour inoffensive.
It was a fairly obvious joke at those Bremainers who can’t seem to take the decision, 'tis all.
I voted to leave and I was in no way expecting to win, my mind had already become accustomed to the the remain vote winning and I was to more than prepared to happily get on with my life, as any sensible individual would do…to be frank, the response to the result from many people who voted remain has been nothing short of embarrassing.
Many of those asking for a re-run are those who voted Out and now realise that they were lied to. It’s a bit like asking for a refund when you realise you’ve been sold faulty goods
This for example:
Here’s a very strong article about how some people feel
there shouldn’t be another referendum. If people fell for the £350m on the NHS then they’re idiots and would probably vote leave if you gave them another go anyway. What’s getting a little irritating is leave people saying that the remain voters should just get on with it. It’s like they don’t understand what it means to have principles and values. When your country has just gone against the things you believe in, only a moron would be happy to just get in with it without any grumbles. I accept that there is nothing I can do about it but I’m not going to go around pretending I’m happy about it or that I don’t think we’re in for years of chaos and even more right wing politics.

Oh do grow up, you’re lied to by every politician from every party at every election.
Sums up my thoughts exactly. I’m not particularly happy about a result which was predicated on a bunch of lies told by politicians, but I can’t think of any sort of previous vote where that hasn’t also been the case! I don’t think there’s a mandate for another referendum on UK membership of the EU, however I do still advocate Scotland and Northern Ireland getting the opportunity to separate from the UK by referendums!

Hang on, I too have principles and values but we live in a democracy, and as I’ve already said…I was more than prepared to go along with whatever outcome was democraticaly voted. I really don’t get all the bitching and crying…life’s a shit, you just deal with it the best way you can.

And there in lies your problem, I wasn’t advising you…it was my opinion and nothing more.
Thank you for further words of wisdom. You’re like Yoda.

You’re welcome.
Chill out if I were you Hypertension can kill.
One question before you explode
What nationality are you? as even the most nationalistic Briton does not have as much vitriol as you.
