Has the Brexit argument been effectively won so

Really thought you said David Dickinson then… “Want some genuine British goods, chips as chips!!”

We could call it the Non-EU.

EP pres Martin Schulz says there will be “consequences” for Britain so other EU countries are not “encouraged to follow that dangerous path”

If that’s not one good reason to applaud the leavers then I don’t know what is…

consequences such as joining a trade group with an increasing number of non-EU european states?

We could call it the Non-EU.

Sounds a bit french to me

I think he was implying that the people who lead the Brexit movement are racist and backward. And that if your country is led by racist and backward people it will tend to become a racist and backward country. If you don’t believe me, watch the United States if we elect Donald Trump.

If you don’t believe me, watch my prediction of the future.

Just don’t look at the race wars that are already happening and the incredible systematic racism and sexism sponsored by existing government.

Cunts on all sides, cunts as far as the eye can see.

Interesting.

Surprising (very).

Hope it has wider ramifications among those in the bloc that remains - how and how quckly things move is to be considered important as is the question of identity - fundamental one all round.

Let’s not become more Amercianised (sorry Redslo!) as there’s a swing into a perceived vacuum.

Wait for the dust to settle (and see above).

NI might now have to form a form of union with Eire thus finishing that particular issue off externally quicker than would have happened otherwise. Which is a benefit externally.

I am happy that the British seem to have gone against the existing order which historically in their voting they never have and wonder (hope) if it might mean more ‘engagement’ due to the necessity to have to become involved in order for a (often mal-if not not-at-all formed opinion) and thus less fannying about and more actually addressing the problems that are felt by those who are not cossetted by their own blinkered views and bank loans or the sweat of others.

PS people who throw out ‘isms’ aren’t really capable of argument when that is all they have. Am off to write a book, I’ve decided.

How about the US opening up its border with Mexico so all Mexicans are welcomed into your country with open arms to live and find jobs. Add to that people from Guatamala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama and all other central American people.

And then calling all Americans who oppose that idea racists.

That’s what’s happening here.

Considered that, but I think the EU already has an F-EU body of some description.

I’m off to America soon and so will include this in my discussions with the random people I accost - thank you. My view would be were the seeds not already sown when the ‘Dream’ was sold and the reality said "We’re big, we’re over here, and you owe us an ever-increasing and never-to-be-paid-back amount of money’? (Think long, long term).

Let’s bring in PR now.

Let’s bring in PR now.

If one of the main thrusts of the brexit campaign was the objection to an unelected and unaccountable administration, then the abolition of the House of Lords and the introduction of PR should naturally follow with a brexit believing government (presumably elected before PR is introduced of course).

Pleased with the result.

Getting ready to have a good old chortle at the long list of unrealised predictions.

Worry not , Braymainers. Us confident cunts will drag you kicking and screaming into a realisation of your own competence. :lou_wink_2:

Seems Boris Johnson is now as popular in London as he is in Liverpool. Quite a feat.

See where you are coming from but, forgive me if I’m wrong, the House of Lords don’t make the laws for the elected people to ratify.

The House of Lords is there as a check on the policies that the Government tries to get through and even then their recommendations can be ignored!
