I have thought for some time that the reamain campaign would have been much better if they had done nothing. Just shut the fuck up and people will generally plump for the status quo.
So good work Cameron, Gideon et al.

Four Things They Don’t Tell You About the EU
Make of it what you will but, for mine, there are several flawed lines of thinking and comparisons in there.
Where they’ve fucked up is agreeing to have a referendum in first place. When it was just UKIP & Nigel Farage talking shit bout Europe, and the rest of the political parties refused to engage with them, most bears assumed that leaving was not srs option and it was stupid nonsense + racist to talk about it. We would never have voted for it, but now, right, it’s been Legitimised.
It’s like if I started a party for bombing Wales. If all the politics bros laughed me off, and called me racist against Welsh, I would never get enough people behind me. But if they started taking me srs, and debating me sensibly in public like I was Real Person, then ppl would find out that the arguments for not bombing Wales are actually quite weak and difficult to comprehend, and Wales would be in big trouble srs.
I’ll vote for you
Slay the Wales! I’m in.
… or simply one that highlights the ineptitude and fuck you attitude of the Tories and Osborne? Spin is such a wonderful thing as the poster and statment dont state categorically that this situtaion was 'forced ’ by the EU, yet the ambiguity is designed to imply it… as mentioned could just as easily be a Tory being a cunt.
We forget the EU is NOT just about a single countries interests and there will be things that we find hard to swallow…but I would like to know how many international companies have EU wide headquaters in the UK because of whatever incentives they received…how many jobs that created …to put that into perspective - the company I work for does.
The EU gave them an 80m development loan so they could move the jobs that remained in Southampton to Turkey.
EU dosh comes from us, so we indirectly loaned Ford the money to take jobs away from Southampton.
How many Syrians do they have to accept to pay off that loan?

I dunno, GA. I can think of a single country doing considerably better than all the others.
Is Turkey even in EU?

Not yet. They’re a member of the OECD group of countries, which is another large and undemocratic body dedicated to spreading the plague of market values. They’d also like to join, which would be nice, when they stop killing people within their own borders with armies and shit.
Despite, Leave’s fearmongering - the fact is they have wanted to join for a long time. There are 35 chapters they have to close before their membership is likely, in over 20 years they have managed to close one - science and research.

tks pap i googled but wasn’t sure. I found something interest tho, did you know the National Bird of Turkey is… the Redwing? That’s like missing an open goal, ain’t it.
I did found out also tho that EU lent Ford that money cos they was threaten to move all their manufacturing operations to China.
Giving a Loan to relocate a factory to another EU country is one thing. Giving a loan to relocate out of the EU - WTF?
I see now. Given that Germany have 8 facilities it was important to throw the UK under the bus to save the German jobs.
could be the case! When I investigated into my imagination to find out that exclusive scoop about ford moving to china there was nothing in there about the German angle, but I spose if I think a bit more I might be able to come up with some facts about that too.
The point i was making was about how such lines can be spun - because the information is NOT in that poster. The reader is left with ambiguity and that is ‘spin/propaganda’ which everway you look at it, because it gives no direction on how this statement relates to any factual evidence.
You only got to look above I see several versions, but no citation, and its this that has characterised this whole debate - information that is interpreted differently by both sides - so being able to isolate facts and thus draw informed conclusions is almost impossible. Emotive rhetoric driven by existing hard wired view of the EU… by both sides I might add.
Didn’t think I’d need to link this as it was big news in Southampton.
That’s not the point pap - the poster in itself should not require folks to go and hunt for the truth and thus come across a story that no matter how ‘true’ only presents one perspective, because to place this in true context, you have to present the facts on jobs CREATED by companies moving here as well and what grants/incentives were provided to do so… its no differnt to the old immigraton figures which never show emmigration numbers … (The Daily Mail is an expert in this)
… this is selective argumentation, where only one perpsective is offered as the ONLY perspective and too many folks follow that line on both sides …
