Martina getting offside is unfortunate but it’s as frustrating for him as it is for us. If you’re trying to stay onside you have to rely on the man with the ball releasing it at the right time. It’s a fine balancing act…get it right and you’ve got a yard on the fullback…delay the pass and you’re made to look an ass.

we look completely toothless. It’s just not happening at all. Equally, we look reasonably comfortable at the back but they’ve had a couple of chances. Be surprised if it doesn’t finish 0-0 (12 mins left). They’re more likely to score than we are

I don’t know what’s wrong with Long, bit he’s been poor. But I’d rather leave him on than bring the kid on as a sub…not sure this is the game to be bringing any youngsters in
Trouble is when we get the ball out wide even with Long and Redmond in the box we’re no threat from crossing because 1) they’re both too short and 2) there’s no big man from midfield to charge in and arrive late either.
Still, a 0-0 would be fine with me.
