So, it’s a massive game for us and Puel leaves José, Bertrand, Davis and Austin at home, but i’m still smiling. I see a manager that’s sure of his way and i believe we will get the win(no back passing Maya). Three points will set us up nicely and some important players will get a rest.
I’m a believer that Puel is doing the right thing. How about everyone else?
Also let’s have some predictions. I’ve already said 2-0 and JWP to score and i’m more convinced that he’ll get some decent game time now. Let’s here them people
SO5 and I are heading to The Sheaf, just outside Borough Market, (proposed venue for Inter away too) to watch this tonight. Anyone else who wants to join is welcome
I’m a bit nervous about this one. All our best players left at home is a bit different to having them on the bench. Without Austin it’s been a bit difficult to see where the goals are coming from. So I’d love to see Long take this opportunity to get his eye back in.
I’m calling a hopeful 0-1 but I don’t know who will score it. Possibly a fortunate own goal from a miscued Long strike.
I’m not looking for anything spectacular, just a sound workmanlike Euro away game where we absorb and counter quickly. If I do nod off I hope to be awoken with a BT…R-E-D-M-O-N-D !!
1-0 to our brave lads…yes I’ve had my lucky bowl of porridge this morning.
Indeed. But we may (yet to be confirmed) be putting out a second string 4 at least, at their place. I have faith in the manager and fully expect him to have done his homework of course. But I am not rushing to bet on us scoring 3!
Think we’ll do well to win this one and I’d take a point. I’ll go for a 2-2. Saints equalising twice.
You gonna join us for a London pint?
Thanks for the invite but I can’t make this one as I’ve got a work leaving ‘do’ to attend (my editor so can’t really miss out without looking like a bit of a wanker).
Will definitely make it to one of these hangouts soon though! If people are going to Milan it’d be cool to link up then as I’ll be there with a couple of mates.
