59 is pretty close - if you are scoring about 900.
One could observe that if you lose your last six wickets for 23 you deserve to get relegated.

I did observe it. Well at least after going home at lunch, I got back to find us at 180-4. After that it was pretty ordinary and we left before Yorks 2nd innings safe in the knowledge that we will be watching Glamorgan, Gloucester and Leicestershire next year.
Deep joy!

@YorkshireCCC 134-2, leading Hampshire by 193 at@TheAgeasBowl
And now bad light has stopped play, there is a god!!
If there’s no more play today they will need to bat on in the morning and there’s rain due tomorrow afternoon.
They will also make the mistake of thinking they need to set us about 300 when we all know that 193 is probably enough already!
So I still fancy that draw…

Getty ImagesA light-affected day yesterday, in which only 19 overs were bowled, has significantly reduced the chance of a result in this game.
The decision on whether to gamble on victory this morning lies with visitors Yorkshire. They have a lead of 202, with Gary Ballance nearing his 37th first-class half century.
Andrew Gale’s men will want to set a target beyond Hampshire’s reach, but they may not have the time to do it with rain showers expected at around 1500 BST.
Expect an aggressive first hour from Yorkshire, followed by a declaration, and then a four or five hour session in which all three results are possible.
WICKET Gale (c McManus b Wheal 19)
Yorkshire 281 & 143-3 v Hampshire 222
Posted at11:06We haven’t seen a run yet, be we have seen a wicket! Andrew Gale falls on the eighth ball of the morning, caught behind off Brad Wheal. Lewis McManus is the man with the catch.
Not the start title-chasing Yorkshire wanted.

Rex FeaturesEngland’s Gary Ballance cracks one away for four and he passes 50 from 86 deliveries. Well played, that man.
Obviously been reading the porn thread!!
WICKET Ballance (b Berg 72)
Yorkshire 281 & 189-4 v Hampshire 222
Gareth Berg gets the wicket of England’s Gary Ballance , and it is his seventh wicket of this match.
The ball crashes into leg stump and Ballance goes for 72, with Yorkshire’s lead up to 248.
Building towards a declaration?

BBC Weather
With Jake Lehmann (24) and Tim Bresnan (12) batting steadily, Yorkshire’s lead has grown to 268.
But what target will they look to set Hampshire?
The weather forecast for Southampton looks reasonable until around about 16:30 BST. But at that point in the day, an extremely ominous-looking rain cloud is expected to reach the region…
Lunch 281 & 238-5d
Hampshire need 298 runs to win
Hants 84-4 but match suspended due to bad light. Still 213 behind. Phew.
Pissing down across town…we’re safe.
Draw just declared

Surrey and Durham left to play, one would suggest that our result against Durham could be a important one
Let’s look on the birght side, Durham failed miserably to take maximum points against appalling Notts.
