đŸ“ș GOOD SHOWS (no capeshit pls)

Yes, she is very sexy in an understated kind of way. Wonderful acting from Peter Vaughan, aka genial Harry Grout too.

you mean Maester Aemon from GoT?

Another cap doff to Chernobyl.

Wonderfully gritty and horribly worrying.

For any fellow fans of Deadwood.,the movie is now on sky Atlantic. Somewhat surprising is that there seems to have been no advertising fanfare.

Thank you, downloading now, I hope not to be disappointed

Season 2 of Happy drops on 5th June on Netflix. Trailer looks as insane as series 1. Me and Mrs CS are both looking forward to it.

Good Omens on Amazon is another crowd pleaser in the CS household.

Latest series of Black Lightening on Netflix is watchable, but seems to be losing its spark (sic). Lucifer is becoming less of a go to show as well.

Brooklyn 99 on More4 continues to please.

Edit: swiftly changed Mrs CD to Mrs CS. Hopefully @Saint-CD won’t have noticed :lou_sunglasses:

Mrs CS watches that Designated Survivor thing. Not my cup of tea but there you go.

You have failed me for the last time @Rust-Cohle :lou_angry:

That “movie” seems a perfect lead up to a 4th season of Deadwood

I hope you’re right cocksucker !!

I like that they gave Garrett Dillahunt a cameo, I only realised after watching the whole series for the 3rd time that he played 2 different characters in the original run.

Just watched the last episode in which the chin of events that led to the core explosion is described
frightening how a combination of events led to the catastrophy.

Excellent drama all round.

It is absolutely fucking mental - love it :two_hearts::two_hearts:(No frickin unicorn emoji)

The Virtues. Superbly acted and shot so well. The flash backs feel like they’re 80s. Hard hitting stuff as per usual. If you can stomach it watch it.

Not a big fanfare, but rewatching a BBC film from a while back that I have seen a few times
Oranges and Sunshine, about the systematic deportation of kids from children homes to Austraiia and how a social worker began to uncover it
superbly acted by all the cast, especially Emily Watson, David Wenham, and Hugo Weaving
very moving and interesting drama that left me in tears at several poignant moments.

Posted above that Good Omens is a C_S crowd pleaser- it is but having read the book I’m getting marginally p’d off that everything is getting condensed and the narrative is a bit rushed - we’re still enjoying it, but now realising it could have been so much more
