The only shows left on my roster are Handmaidās Tale and Leftovers. I have tapped out of Everything Else.
Handmaidās Tale is my favourite! It is set in a dystopia America where WASP women can no longer get pregnant, so every household is given a left wing lesbian or a black woman to be a Sex Slave, and the Wasp husband bangs them to make a Baby. If you get a Lesbian, what they do is cut her bean off, to stop her lezzing off with the cook, and if ur Handmaid is still not get pregant, which is quite often happen, cos most of the Wasp men is Jaffas, you get the local GP or chaffeur to bang her on the side.
What I find weird about the show, is the sheer number of fkn Henchmen that are hanging around. Theyāre fkn everywhere! Thereās six on every street corner, all tooled up with automatic rifles and walky talkys. Iām not sure why tho, cos there is no signs of Rebellion, everyone is loving the new arrangement. Where do the government get all these Henchmens?
It is gd show tho trust. Even better than my recommendation of Girls, or the suicide Dawsonās Creek remake.
Last night the handmaid was v.angar, cos she has to sit in the wifes lap while the husband bangs her, cos thatās how it is in the Merman bible or something, but what the husband was doing was banging her extra hard trying to make her cum, and that was bad cos if the wife sees her enjoying the banging, she gets sent to salt mines or something. I have quit walking dead and found 2 doors is now on Kodi. I think this might be the best program since him and her. Maybe even better than him and her.
I must admit, lot of my recommendations (girls, 13 reasons why, handmaidās tale, ally mcbeal, orange is new black) seem to be shows where the female characters are all clear mental illness. Not sure why. Guess I just find them kind of shows more Realistic.
I see what you mean, but itās not for me. I can sort of buy into a world where there is dragons or zombies or wizards or whatever, but when they have women characters acting rational, you know, i can only suspend disbelief so far.
I am genuinely thinking about doing some extras work. The beard is huge and the hair is long. I also think shortarses have an advantage in this field as we donāt need to be CGIāed for dwarf or hobbit roles and we make mid-height actors look leviathan.
I have a friend whoās done a lot of extras work on Poldark, it would fit in with your political leanings. He was a member of a workerās councilā¦was tried, found guilty and received a government assisted passage to Van Diemenās Land.
After reading Bearsyās compelling take on The Handmaidens Tale, I was completely sold ā¦I just couldnāt resist and watched the first episode tonight.
Pretty good for an opener but Iām hoping the pace picks up a bit. Looking forward to the high scoring scrabble game, it sounds very exciting.
Fraid not! I think show is primarily aimed at Women tho, so you have to make Allowances.

Billions season 2 ended this week. I have stayed with it even though Mrs SOG gave up long ago and was rewarded with an excellent didnāt see that coming penultimate episode last week. It really nails modern day USA where even the guys with the white hats have questionable morals and everyone is fucked up in one way or another. Not sure about the wisdom of doing another series though. The Bobby Axelrod/Chuck Rhodes thing can only run so long.
Deep Space 9 now done. So slow in S1 and so huge even epic during the war. Feels like we lost an old friend.
Now catching up on new episodes of Designated Survivor. It is good & enjoy all the curve balls that Kiefer gets hit with. Few more to go then gotta decide between Expanse & Sens8 - easy for me but need to get Mrs D_P on the bus not sure 8 will hold her down long enough
My apologies. But thereās so much competition for Sotonians these days itās easy for my attention to be diverted! For example, President Trump is my new go to for nut-job conspiracy theorists - heās just way more entertaining! And frankly, Saintsweb has raised the bar recently for stag-rutting. Politics thread is second to none for education about the male species, and laughs.
Deep down, Sotonians will always be my fave of course.

PPPPS. Not seen Handmaidenās Tale but read the book a couple of years ago and it was already pretty graphic. Not sure why anyone would want to watch it on screen other than to fulfil rape fantasies. Unless thereās more to it than that?
