If you want something that’s UK legal then it needs to be non-locking and under 3 inch blade.
My first choice would be a Spyderco uk penknife at around £65.
There are plenty of cheaper options though.

Their service is excellent and they have a good range. Worth reading the reviews as some slip joint knives are considerably stiffer than others.
Personally I don’t worry too much about uk legal status as it’s the lairy (brown) ute that are likely to get stopped and searched by plod.
If you are using it around the garden I would go for something with a liner lock.
Boker and CRKT are excellent value.

Got one of these bad boys delivered yesterday. I’ve actually been on a waiting list for months.
Basically, a light gun that works with newer tellies. And actually works.
People have tried before - I’ve got another implementation which relies on a Wii style sensor bar, but that one is shite.
This one is quite clever. It has a web cam installed in it, and when you play a game software puts a white border around the edge of your game.
You’ll be bored of duckhunt within a week
