New headphones are excellent. Much better than the old ones that were already pretty good. MUCH more bass and definition across the whole range. They pair quicker and are excellent - for in ear buds.

Plus I got them for £33 (£6 Amazon top up voucher offer) and the refund was for £49.95.

I have two dicks!

Ok techno nerds… Mrs MoT is getting me some new over ear wireless headphones for my chrimbo… but I need to choose

What do you recommend ?

In dim and distant past had some nice sennheiser wired which has good sound, but there are all these modern brands out there now that this old geezer has no clue what’s good and what’s shit and over priced poser shit?

Sotoniams advice please

PS. None of those footballer gold bling poser shit bollocks is going anywhere near the MoT Barnet

Well you couldn’t get like that playing with one.

Come on @Goatboy where are ya… I am at airport and have a chance to do a deal, but need some advice dude… get your fingers out!

I’ve got the Bose QuietComfort 35s, they’re really bloody good.

Comfy, great noise cancelling, good sound (I.e.not tuned to bass like Beats etc) and aesthetically pleasing.

They’ve just bought out a new model to replace them I believe so would think there’s a deal to be had :+1:

Thank you sir! At least someone care about MoTs aural well-being …

As long as you don’t mind looking like Princess Leia I have a pair of Sony MDR-XB950N1B Wireless Noise Cancelling Extrabass Headphones : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N5MQX4N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think the sound quality goes a long way to make you forget how they look…

Thank you as well… as someone who was around 13 when Leia donned the golden bikini as my elder brother said, I have no issue with Leia’s ear muffs ( although I am sure I heard that wrong…)

They’re a bit of a bargain at that Amazon price…mine were £150+ when I bought mine.

Personally I’d go for wired as you get more bang for your buck. I’ve got the audio technical m50x’s and cant fault them.

BTW the Sony wireless can be used wired too.

Sony WH1000XM3 are excellent.

Bit more than budget though… although did get a few quid for my Birthday that could supplement this and this justify the extravagance as Mrs MoT will cal it

Check out the Sony, Bose and Sennheiser in your price range. They’re all decent quality so read/watch a couple of comparison reviews and pick the one that suits yourself.
Whichever you choose, i think you’ll be impressed.

Somewhat late to the game as usual, my world changed this week.
I guess it was obvious should have known blah blah.

Took some clients to the village Pizza joint everything is Polish - half the charm and they were soldiering the menu on the wall with an QR Reader.
Then ordering.
Duh.
The Google Translate App will ruin half the fun of foreign holidays - ordering weird shit.
Suddenly even shopping is a piece of cake, I’m finding out what road signs mean.
Bloody hell. Next up I will use it to talk.
Didn’t I see this stuff in Star Trek?

Birthday prezzie from Mrs G. :grinning:
