Opole “festival” on TV tonight. Seems all these are like an end of year TotP. Bands play 2 or 3 songs all brightly lit to a seated audience.
Some good music but they are festivals and some people in the audience are wearing suits
Why did I mention it? Sister in law asked if Glasto would be as big as Opole…
I’m losing a day tomorrow to the festival (hmm) in Krakow- to be fair there are 14 venues across town from the main square to clubs to pop up open Mike places.
So had to finish packing as shops shut Sunday & off to airport at 9am
Only gonna see 2 of them.
And I checked back to all the glastos
I’ve done, only once have I done all 3 headliners
And one of those was a no way NEVER and he was one of the most memorable JayZ.
Fatboy & Eatseverything one I cant wait for. May even dump my chair in a lockup for them
Fatboy slim plays Glastonbury in January…
I could happily go to either of those gigs safe in the knowledge that they’re not Status Quo, mate.

He won’t have it, he wouldn’t know good ole rock and roll if it smacked him on the snout, the Mighty Quo are a British institution, I dread to think what music he was brought to as a child, me? Quo, Floyd, ACDC, Zepplin, Sabbath, Skynard and many more.
