Continuing an aeronautical theme.
Dug some stuff out today. My 1st ever sught of Glasto was in 1991. I was studying for my Private Pilot Licence and we actually flew around the site at 3000 feet (following CAA Regs re distance) couldn’t imagine then why anyone would want to go…
In 2008 decided to go for 1st time. Problem was it had already sold out. Anyway, we registered. Come the day of the resale I was parked at The Creek golf course waiting to play golf and used my mobile to cal the international Ticket line.
2 rings and a voice said hello followed by oh how did you get this number? - web site. Hang on. OK give me your registration numbers, I’ll see what I can do.
And off we went.

So after weeks of the missus warning us that we’d never get everything in the car and would need to splash out on an expensive roof rack, it appears we can, as I suspected all along, get everything in the car.
Apparently, it had not occurred to the missus that we have a generous five seater, and were only taking four people, and that one of the seats could be taken up with luggage and suchlike.
This is why I am glad I went to Uni

Jlaw is rather proud of his car packing. His fold out bed thing is main issue but he insists on keeping it.

Duh. At my age? Obviously. We get searched for glass. Our van has no fridge or Leisure battery ie electrics
We do have space and Portaloos that are cleaned at 7am daily.
For me? It’s all about not using the long drops.
