some people were annoyed at Tom Morello being political last night at Muse. He had ‘Fuck Farage’ on the back of his guitar and there was a girl with a Palestinian flag. There’s people on facebook just losing it that he did that. Don’t think they actually knew who he was.

Ahh that’s the FB default setting…quiet today, let’s find something that upsets me.
On St. George’s Day the was a woman on “Southampton Heritage Photos” FB page saying how outraged she is that the English flag is now deemed offensive. I asked her to whom is it offensive…she went on to say, it makes her blood boil there was someone flying a German flag down her allotment gardens…I said, “perhaps they’re German”
TBF she got a right FB kicking…proud of my fellow Sotonians.

Just wait until the Israel firsters start trawling through the history of bands, looking for anything that they can construe as anti-semitism. There are more than a few who have traditionally taken a radical pro Palestinian stance.

It makes all the comments about rubbish line ups even more laughable. Now we’ve cut back a couple of big concert slots to have more time for Cabaret Tent, Shangri La and hopefully Green & Healing fields - we’ve voted to NOT argue over any clashes and go with the flow EXCEPT for Kylie, Killers & Snowpatrol.
My canned bacon substitute search is now over photos later, just need to buy tht and the flavoured Vodka stocks (Yes I found our old storage bottles so yes I will decant them before flying and yes it is actually cheaper in Carrefour than Duty Free.
My WORRY - it is awfully dry in the BBC 10 day forecast. Glasto never has a month of no heavy rain.
