🗣 Gigs

The Killers supported by Blossoms at St Mary’s tonight.
This rain can fuck off.
Bet we still concede in the last minute and the queue for half time hot dogs is still a fucking mile long.

My nephew is going to that. Where’s the best place to park, is that Airlynx place open?

The temple in Radcliffe rd is open. £8

Or park on horseshoe bridge for free then it’s a 10 minute walk.

The Chapel might be louder than usual this evening.

Stones next week, should be good.

Looks like the same sound stage that Robbie used when he played St Marys.

edit : just went back through my photos, was that really in 2017!!

And?

How was it?

Very good! Good show, all the hits. Even did Joy Division and Roberta Flack covers. Lots of pyro and even had red and white streamers fired into the crowd. Impressive visuals and the sound was amazing.
Thought Blossoms were excellent too. Underrated band them.

They were quite superb.

Back in the day, Mrs P_F & I used to watch Idol.
He absolutely bossed that show.
And came 2nd.
Never understood it
He really fits the part without ever trying to be Freddie.
Would live to see them.
Saw Queen & Paul Jones? In the sandpit. Great nostalgia night but not Adam’s level

Paul Carrack, perhaps? :thinking:Don’t recall Jones singing with them.

He was sidelined with a thigh injury so he thought he’d have a go at performing with a supergroup.

Paul Rodgers. Previously of Free & Bad Company.
That memorable

Ah, yes. :+1::+1:

Public Image Ltd tonight, at the Engine Rooms.

Possibly your last chance to see John Lydon.

Well, they were pretty good.

But which one of you lot told them I was going?

From Google about the venue

“ Entertainment hub with roller disco for adults and kids, dance lessons, club nights and live bands.”

PIL and roller disco. That’s something I’d pay to see :joy:
