Genuine and sensible parental concern or MORAL PANIC!?

I agree with @bathsaint , 7 is probably a bit too young…

I’ve been thinking about this overnight and my biggest problem with Fortnite is that it is an online game. You get into a battle and you can’t leave the battle until you’re either killed or win, sometimes this can take 10 minutes.

So, tell the boy his dinner’s ready

“Can’t come in the middle of a battle”
“Well turn it off then”
“Can’t I’ll lose rep points”
Me, getting shoutier, “Turn it off and come and have your dinner”
“Can’t come in the middle of a battle”
Walks over to PC and pulls power cord…
The boy starts sulking…

My mum has just phoned me up asking if my son plays Fortnite on his phone (it’s now available on apple devices), luckily he doesn’t.

Apparently some kid racked up an £80 bill, on his phone, playing Fortnite, with in game purchases.

Be careful out there…

This sounds depressingly familiar.

When I’m in the middle of a game of gwent this happens to me, only it’s the pizza delivery man getting annoyed.

I’d almost forgotten this pair of fucking morons going by the moniker PopularMMO’s

These guys genuinely sound like they have special needs, particularly the girl. Again, I defy you to listen to more then 30 seconds and then reflect on what my life has become and pity me.

Jen and someone else isn’t it, she has a squeaky, annoying voice that you’ll hear in your worst nightmares…

… and after the sulking comes the van driving.
