I know…that’s why my wife is annoyed.
You had a lie in this morning then!
Yep but it’s a 6.30 start tomorrow…get out before the weekend part-timers go for their exercise.
Your camera phone is rather good.
Yep…Samsung slider with 1.5m pixel camera…quality.
Set off at 10.20 today which is a bit earlier than usual. Going to try for more like 9.30 to avoid people even more. Usually this bench is surrounded by families.
We walked down to Hollow Ponds and back. A good hour and half.
Nope, and to think she’s still jumping on the bed a night. We’ve had to move into the spare room.
Today’s walk. Busy in places. On 2 occasions we stopped to let the people coming towards us go by and one family just cracked on and
went by us all and didn’t think at all and a cyclist on the other occasion.
People around here all seem to take this very seriously, giving you a lot of space without exception. I don’t wear a mask but I always wear a pair of latex gloves on my morning walk…just the gloves, hence the wide berth.
Sadly some people have no idea how far apart you should be. The other week a man with his daughter completely didn’t take any notice. He was on the phone saying him and his work mates were keeping the country alive. I thought given his lack of distancing that may not actually be the case. Think he was a builder.
Last week a jogger went past my partner so close it would have been awkward in none covid-19 times.
I suppose in London we are used to being squished up against each other so being about a metre away is already luxury!
If Londoners keep that behaviour up, in about 8 weeks there will be loads of space
indeed.
Except on the ICU wards and in Nightingale…
