Bring them on, can’t wait to see you harpooning Sainsbury’s carrier bags and Fairy Liquid bottles.
thankfully not very polluted. I was one of those people picking up litter on the beach and putting it in the bin.
Unfortunately I regularly find myself carrying four or five doggie poo bags back to the dog bin at the end of our twice daily walks. Apparently dog shit does grow on trees.
Having just Googled Bukkake, I’m not Googling snorkeling.
Is that the thing that swims up your togger and empties your Swiss Bank accounts?
I find that salty taste at the back of the throat a bit off-putting.
The sea snake I slowly swam away from.
The Lionfish we also swam away from (particuarly when the tide was low and the current a little stronger)
There were loads of these fish with blue eyeshadow. They would hide in the coral and then come out and come straight for my blue camera and then dash back. Saw them being a little aggressive to other fish so think they thought the camera may have been some weird fish.
Lots of these little blue fish always around the same patch. I’d just go hang out with them a while.
These guys were quite friendly. Felt like one was always with me on my snorkel.
Moorish Fish. Only the one it seemed.
One of my faves - Picasso Triggerfish. Pretty quick and hard to capture and don’t come near. Though I’ve been watching some larger Trigger fish going for people!
I have about a billion more but won’t bore you any further.
Swim laterally (not upward) to get away from trigger fish. Their territory extends as a cone from their place on the sea bed so swimming upward won’t help! Picasso trigger fish are one of my faves too!
Good to know for the future. Watching youtube videos of other trigger fish - they’re nasty.
There were a pair of them in the same place near a bouy. However if I tried to get a photo they were generally off. My partner saw one further out but I reckon it was another one.
Predators, eh?
Takes one to know one.
Nobody’s said yet…so I will…
Did you find thingemebob?
On the boat on the way to France for a day trip…
Studland Beach
Poole Harbour
Old Harry Rocks
Hope they come out OK on big screens…
Lion fish are both cool and evil
Evil because they are a pest particularly in the Caribbean
Cool because if you go night diving. Half an hour into the dive you can turn around and find half a dozen stalking you, being attracted to your torch
Does he?
Oh, how I miss the hilarious fun with words thread.
You should start a new one.
