They’re worried he’s looking too good for them to find an excuse to take another RB

So who’s going to get MotM? Obviously for his all round performance, JWP by a country mile but my money is on Grealish for selling the ref the dummy. He’s the pundit’s favourite.

      Sorry I can’t help it.

And that’s why Henderson was picked. Always reliable, in any situation :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Keep the Cunt away from penalty shootouts.

Fuck me this is dull

What happened?

JWP got subbed early for being the best player on the field.

Did they announce a MOTM?

Didn’t hear one.

The way Wright was banging on it was probably Henderson…

He grabbed the ball from DCL, who was about to take the penalty he’d been awarded. Then played a weak penalty which the keeper saved comfortably.

Southgate sounds like he is going to kick Henderson’s arse

And Ian Wright was defending him saying he’s popular in the dressing room so he should have been allowed to take it :lou_facepalm_2: :lou_facepalm_2:

Prowsey would have scored that.

The round of applause JWP got as he came off was well deserved.

He can do no more.

Unimpressive from England. Defence looked shambolic at times, Johnstone pulled off a worldie to stop them equalising. JWP played well except for the weak shot from the direct free kick.

Ben White gets the nod ahead of JWP

From the BBC

For what it is worth - and I appreciate that’s probably not very much! - James Ward-Prowse would get my vote.

The squad looked imbalanced when it got announced and I was shocked, considering how much Gareth Southgate seems to rate the Southampton captain, that he got left out in the first place.

We saw England’s frailties from the penalty spot yesterday too. Ward-Prowse is excellent at those and on set pieces.

He’ll do for me.
