Theyâve also sawn a bit off the exhaust pipe.
Police are baffled.
Finally got UKIP and Reform election flyers pushed through the door - blimey, theyâre both on the very closest edge of promoting racism - they must have hired some very smart lawyers.
The Reform leaflet is clearly a bog standard leaflet with pictures of Fartage and Tice all over it and a very small box where the local candidates name has been inserted. No idea of who he/she (obviously not a she).
Our UKIP candidate is a local nutter who is beyond The Pale even for the dyed in the wool Tories around here.
Labour are not even trying to compete - no leaflets or doorstepping.
Strangely we got a leaflet from the Lib Demâs, but after being torn from Esher & Walton in the Tories latest gerrymandering the question is could they overturn the expected Tory majority?
Judging by a very late proliferation of Lib Dem posters / signs across the locale perhaps people are holding their noses for the local least worst option?
Not had anything like that here mate. Just Libs and Tories. Anyone else standing will be lucky to get nil.
Youâre still in Esther & Walton, right?
Oxshott and Cobham got moved into a majority Tory area
Following Ed Daveyâs latest escapade:
A man on a length of elastic
Decided to do something drastic
When he jumped off the cliff he
Came back in a jiffy
And screamed to his friends âItâs fantastic!â
(Michael Palin)
Is it just me or has it been a very low key Election campaign for all parties this time around, or am I just not bovvered?
I think thatâs probably true, Iâve noticed that thereâs been less visible electioneering this time. I had put it down to the party machines concentrating on social meeja, in which case I wouldnât be aware of it.
Labour are thinking whatâs the point we have it sorted
Tories are thinking whatâs the point we have fucked it
Reform are thinking keep the nutters at home and they canât fuck it
and the Libs - whats the point of them
Its the abstain vote - when you donât want to spoil your ballot paper but donât want to vote for the main parties
