That isn’t going to happen they’ll win it and I bet they win the fucking League as well.

Watched it with Young Adult #2 periodically. Ginge is banned from these things because she’s a jinx.

Great game. That corner was fucking cheeky. I rather enjoyed seeing Messi walking off in rat-faced defeated disgrace too.

Best player in the world or not, he plays for a team that tries to get other players booked or sent off. Couple of VAR inquiries over potential straight reds.

Fascinating game. I hope the locals used up all their fireworks and shotguns last night. Petty lively outside in L12 at the minute, like.

Quiet as a mouse here Pap, at least you’ll get a bike, quad or scooter free in the morning…

Past curfew at Broadmoor, surely?

Did they let you out to watch the match in your special kit?

Pap I wouldn’t be typing if I were you I’d be getting the plyboard across the windows.

Fucking hell. Any sympathy I have for the locals is quickly being burned off by the southern Liverpool fans phoning up 5Live to blub.

Damn your jinxing eyes. :rage::rage::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Putting the fucking mockers on it, I blame you for this.

He spells like an American though.

Or like Jane Austen. Take your pick.

Guessing the Z used to be part of British English, like a lot of things that people think are solely American.

People think “Soccer” is American. It’s not. British slang on association football, to disambiguate it from rugby football.

Yes indeed. See also “gotten”, which has generally dropped from British English, but can still be seen in the occasional phrase such as “ill-gotten gains”. Not an invention of US English at all, though I’m sure many people assume that it is.

As long as he doesn’t start saying “can I get…” or “write me” he’s fine

I blame Bill Gates and auto spellcheck imposed on work pc’s with no option to change to proper English unless you have admin rights.
Which the empire building IT dept will not give us mere mortals.
