Have you given up on Elden Ring? Persist, its worth it, just to say you’ve done it, its a hollow victory as I’ve given far too much time to it but that said its certainly one of the most memorable games I’ve ever played

No. Not in Europe anyway, does it do NFL in USA?

They will be fine, they’re essentially bypassing FIFA and doing direct deals with each of the leagues, teams, players, etc. Only thing that will go is the World Cup editions. It will probably mean a more monetised FIFA Ultimate Team type of game at the expense of things like the Career Mode over time I guess though.

A Ranked now so I very rarely get a normal game. More like crazy golf bowling now.

I haven’t given up on Elden Ring. Very much in the mid-game, very much facing a number of skill checks. There’s a few bits of gear I need to get to become super-effective so in that sense, I’m getting help off the Internet.

For all the modern wiz-bang, it still feels very arcadey in that it’s a memory test. It shares as much DNA with the likes of R-Type as it does with the RPG side that complements it. The big difference is that you can re-approach any situation with more power.

That Tree Guardian that scared Barry so much is long in the ground.

100% completion and finished it twice, Pap not a tree guardian also but crucible knights, they’re brutes, level 302 I think.

I have just killed the wolf great enemy in the magic academy.

I’m using Rock Sling, which worked well with the Meteorite Staff. It tracks very well, meaning you can just get into a roll back and spam rocks loop.

Next up, the Wolf’s missus.

You’ve a long long long way to go if you’re at Raya Lucaria, if you can complete this game on a magic build without using glitches then fair play, wait till you fight Dragonlord Placidusax and many others.

Now on NG+6, can run through the game in about 90 mins but the bosses at the end are beyond difficult, that Elden Beast is easily the most annoying brutal end character I’ve ever seen, people go on about Melania but this blob thing is 10 times harder.
Once you’ve finished NG+7 you’ve effectively done all the endings and the difficulty doesn’t change, not too sure I can stomach that.

I beat Rennala. One of those things. Easy when you know how.

I’ve now got the two most powerful staffs in the game. Time to level so I can use them.

You’re only 20% in if you’re going for 100% and if you want to gun it you’d need to be level 130 min and that will be a struggle with your build.
Those bosses are starting ones not joking.
