Kit Harington says his contract has not been renewed so unless this is a cunning plan, no more Jon Snow in human form. I think we may not have seen the last of Stannis though. Bloody hell, they are dropping like flies. Still cant get my head around why Tommen’s guard dont just go and filet the High Sparrow and his followers but no dount The Mountain will spill some blood in series 6 as Cersai isnt about to let this go. Cant work out where the story line is going on the Wall either now that Jon Snow really does know nothing. I see from some stuff on the internet that people are fed up with the butchery but that is what happened. The good guys got killed all the time and good did not always prevail over evil. Martin and the guys who have done the adaptation have been very clever. You have no idea where this is going other than there must be a showdown with The Others at some point at the end - but even that is not certain. Roll on series 6!

Didn’t see that coming. Mrs SOG is traumatised!
What does she have against South American mammaries?
I think we were still both reeling from Arya’s attack that we didnt pay much attention to the walk of shame.
Pah, you’ve just been reading the same internet discussions/theories that I have. But I have issues :-
-
They’ve got to burn or behead him to make sure he doesn’t turn into a White Walker so how can Melisandre re-animate him?
-
He has shown *NO* prediliction to warg up to press so why would he suddeny do it?
As Bear says if they bring him back it’s a massive cop out (unless it’s done artfully) and I will lose faith with Beinhoff et al.
And we didn’t see Stannis die either and that brings me to another point, how the feck is the King, the leader of the rebellion, able to walk around in the woods on his own? Did he turn tail and run as soon as he saw Bolton’s cavalry?
Gaping holes all over the place my friends, gaping holes.

Well, that assumes he’s actually dead. Both book and show leave that hanging, and all the real world talk about Kit Harrington not having a contract next year may just be that. Talk.

Apart from white wargy eyes, like Bran’s.

Yeah, I disagree with you on the Bear on this.
Season one, episode one tells the viewer that death is not the end. This is not some shark-jumping moment where the rules of the game have suddenly changed. If Jon Snow does come back, it’ll all be within the framework of the established lore.
In those time battles were pretty much a free for all. Stannis may have had men around him to protect him but as the fighting wears on everyone is all over the place. Bolton would have had people looking for his body so he could flay him or put his head on a spike (assuming he hadnt fled the battle field) so I thought the aftermath of the battle was convincing.

OK, I concede that point, I must admit I was watching on my Nexus 9 with brightness problems so didn’t have the clearest picture. I really do need to watch agin in HD.
Don’t the books have Catelyn Stark coming back as some Hooded Lady to avenge her family? Something that’s not in the TV series.

I’m not conceding! I think pap has p-shopped that!
I didn’t Photoshop it, but it wasn’t shown on the episode.
It was amongst a set of leaked images. All the others were legit.
Did you see that image last week, like they’re suggesting, pap? If it came out before the episode aired, with the white eyes + everything, like they’re saying, i would find this to be Good Evidence.

Nah, I didn’t see it last week - but I reckon it’s decent anyway. Compare these two shots.
In second shot, blood pool is slightly bigger, indicating he’s bled out a bit more.
If nothing else, last nights’ show created a new internet statement

Seeing that everywhere today!
Very good Phil but please include a:
To ensure people know what you are talking about.
Unlike many I really enjoyed this season, I think it’s due to the fact that as a reader of the books the storyline started to move away and in places overtake the books.
Cant wait for the next season to see what happens. I don’t suppose there is much chance of Martin releasing the next book.
Maybe his dire wolf comes and laps up all the blood and then cocks his leg on the corpse?
Oh it’s still better than most other shows I watch, you know it’s got good Spectacle & OMG, but I’m just, like, not intrigued.
Q. why did the dragon bird drop that ring when the horse bros came? What was that about? I’m intrigued.
Lol
The Game of Thrones Producer Bros say
She drops the ring because she’s smart; That ring is the breadcrumb that’s going to point in the direction she’s taken. Someone down the line will hopefully find it, and take notice.
