Remarkable GP in Belgium.
Wet Practice, Verstappen with a grid penalty, new track surface so nobody had solid data on what tyres/strategy.
Amazing start from 3rd place by Hamilton into 2nd then past LeClerc early.
Then the pit strategy - 2 stops they chose.
Except Russell who TOLD Mercedes he would stay out on Hard Tyres for half the Race.
And pinched the win from Hamilton.
Shock result Mercedes 1 & 2
Renault Staff strike so that they can be allowed to continue to produce the worst engine on the grid. An engine so bad that even their own team has decided to look elsewhere
TBH its what F1 has sadly become - sooo many rules that exist to ‘ curb costs’ yet reduce creative engineering (which what it used to be about) - All teams complain about others when they believe these rules have been breached… not just RB.
Just listen to Hamilton and verstappen whiny whinging windbags whenever something is not going right…
