🇺🇸 For people on here who say the US is irrelevant

More than anything you’ve made me laugh.

Don’t retract, exactly stand by your wank, just like the Trumpster.

We’ll leave this belter here then.

Happy for ya! Enjoy the moment. So want to actually address the rest of the post that debunks the shit you spout today?

Haha, too late son, already beat you to it. I want folks to share in this

No, I am off zwifting now, have to be in shape, mind my stomach muscles get a work out with your comedy.

“Without them we’d be fucked, so would Korea, Japan, South Asia Middle East etc”
The Middle East is fucked *because *of The US, i really don’t see how anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock for the past 40 odd years could think otherwise.

Its my fucking thread and people love it, they love the holier than thou row, they think they don’t but they sure as shit do.

As there appears to be a distinct lack of people on the site who say the US is irrelevant, can we close this fucking awful, repetitive, grandstanding bullshit thread now?

There is a big difference between Barry doing one of his own threads and Barry infesting everybody else’s.

Sure, it’s the same tried, tested and tragic formula, a barely coherent title, barely coherent arguments and a bellicosity clearly not backed by a cogent appraisal of world events.

I think my favourite thing about them, as I sit back and stroke my chin, is that he thought they were a good idea.

You still haven’t answered and continued the Vietnam War.

Why did the Americans go into Vietnam?

Also are the Vietnamese communist now?

As I said before, because they thought they could bomb ideas to death. That was what the policy of containment really meant in the 1950s and 1960s. The justification was the so-called domino effect, where state after state would fall into communist hands.

Their intervention did not stop Vietnam from becoming Communist, did not stop North Korea from becoming Communist, did not stop Cuba.

We’ll never really know what a Communist state is. The constant threat of counter-revolution that has threatened every attempt meant that most of them became police states to some degree quite quickly.

We do know that whenever the US or the West has tried to solve the issue by force, millions have died and in one particular case, the whole planet could have gone up.

For the love of everybody’s sanity, please absorb some facts once in a while, especially those you don’t like.

World War 1 and 2?

Were not wars the US fought against Communists. Besides, I qualified my initial remark as post 1945.

FWIW, though, the Soviets did most of the defeat of Germany, with lives. The US took us to the cleaners financially.

They were late for both of them as well.

I simply remarked to your mistimed comment, without the US we’d be fucked on that front, so would Europe, it’d look like Albania or be a satellite republic.

The Soviet sacrifice is a totally different argument, they also made a pact with the fascists remember?
