📽 Films I have seen

Started watching a film on Polish TV. The Foreigner
Thought, hang on, this is OK so found it on my preferred Movie provider in English.
Watched it. It was actually VERY good
In fact it was very good and VERY surprising.
Starred Pierce Brosnan playing a cross between Gerry Adams & Martin McGuiness and? Jackie Chan.
Who acts.
I mean he actually acts. No funny shit, He does acting.
He plays Quan who we never work out but he was a Chinese Special Ops working for the US in Vietnam & his wife was killed by Pirates and he is now living in a Chinese Takeaway with his Daughter who gets blown up by an “IRA Bomb”

It was entertaining, and a 7 on IMBD.
Worth finding

Thanks to my provider, came across two films 25 years apart. The original much loved in Murica, but more of a meh to us. The sequel maybe we understand that world slightly more than way back then.
Space Jam & Space Jam: A new legacy.

Neither movie is anything more than popcorn. They both star non acting actors - Michael Jordan & Le Bron James, and of course the Loony Tunes gang.

Verdict. Tosh piffle nonsense.
But after a couple of wines shared tonight & some Ales & Vodkas yesterday, bloody loved them.

The latest had one spray drink A-List visual gag, and much  to the visuals of the crowd of WB Serververse spectators.

Utter nonsense from Bill Murray in the 1st film to Wily Coyote in the 2nd.

Loved them

Ffs, I’m still giggling at that Daffy Duck A-List gag godammit

A film that did nothing to expand the value of the cinematic form, but did entertain a great proportion of Netflix subscribers at the start of Lockdown.
If you’ve not seen Extraction, this contains a major spoiler.
If you did watch it, the reaction is

There are many days when the aches and pains of getting old are a b1tch.
Then you watch a movie (again) on Netflix and remember you were old & lucky enough to see Queen in concert…
Godaam it.
Bawling my eyes out AGAIN to Bohemian Rhapsody

No, it’s just you.

Like me with Letitia Dean.

My Birthday present next week is a trip to the Cinema to watch Bond (Enlish with subtites) & a Curry.
Just spent 3 nights catching up on the Craig Bond films.
Quantum of Solace was so visually good but ruined by the hour long blowing up of a hotel.
The others were all decent, think Skyfall was the grittiest, Spectre - Blofeld was a bit meh tbh

Strange how none of the new big movies are around on any service

Meh, I see lots of cam sources for the newer movies but I never bother with those as the quality is usually rubbish…

Ditto. Just not worth it. But Black Widow was up in hours, not Shang-Chi for example
Guess it’s to do with not yet streaming though that never stopped them before loading review copies up

Bond films? Why would anyone bother?

For Pussy Galore?

Nope, doesn’t tempt me

For the sweeping location shots.
Back in the day, the dream of going to those places, then doing it…
And because we all want a Silver DB5 with THAT button for when the other half whines about your driving…

Late to the party, I’m sure gamers have issues, but what a fvcking great movie Free Guy is.
I was put off by the whole gamer shit NPC WTF?
All irrelevant it’s just a real daft fun entertaining and educational movie (for someone who thought an Avatar was the Ryder Cup logo or a movie with Blue dudes.

Really enjoyed that, marvellous nonsense

Give me the Lotus Esprit. The DB5 has been done to death.
