šŸ“½ Films I have seen

I can echo this sentiment, the Rotten Tomato comments about this being a thinking man’s movie reek of intellectual snobbery. Echos the social media comments of ā€œthe information is out there go find it for yourselfā€

2 1/2 hours of my life wasted.

Harsh to be sure.

Isn’t it funny though, as with Leave the World Behind, that ā€œcriticsā€ reviews seldom tie up with real people.

Much like that Radio 1 twat that people fawn over, and i can’t be bothered to remember his name, if he hates a movie I’ll watch it, if he loves one I’ll avoid it, won’t even waste my bandwidth downloading a pirate copy.

Kermode? Possibly the most patronising twat ever to grace the airwaves. Even more cuntish when coupled with Mayo.

That’s the twat, so up his own arse…

Named after a shitter what do you expect

He loudly and constantly proclaims that the best film ever made is The Exorcist, followed by The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

That’s what a cunt he is.

When we all know the best film ever made was Dark Star.

Barbie

(Bought on Prime so Young Adult #1 can share with her house mates)

Actually funny and more more thought provoking than expected.

Very much reaffirming all the good things women have achieved and what they can and should achieve in the future.

The comment in the film ā€œ ā€œWe mothers stand still so our daughters can look back to see how far they’ve come .ā€ had everyone in tears.

Hats off to Mattel in being portrayed as the big corporate baddies too.

Recommended - despite having endured the hype when it came out.

I watched Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny last night and after going in with low expectations, I found myself throughly enjoying it. A couple of the Indy set pieces are no longer there. The film sensibly omits 80 something Harrison Ford having a fight with a drawn out fight with a giant antagonist.

Also, fuck the haters. The ending was excellent

I watched that over the weekend as well. Similar style, last one was terrible. I thought it was not too bad. Plenty of action, bit cheese but…

Galaxy Quest is on Netflux.

I can watch on the big screen!

Genius fikm

Honey?
You’re on your own. I’m gonna bee watching a movie.
I bee lieve it is probably a new franchise
Hive got a good feeling about the way it makes a bee line to the sting and how tge pot thickens.

None of the back fill buzz droning on, just straight to the action.

The Beekeeper.
Best Jason Statham nonsense since Transporter.

A perfect Friday night movie for a Thursday

The Holdovers was a treasure, a film about nothing really, beautifully told, filmed and acted by a non superstar

American Fiction is very similar. High-brow author decides to write a trash urban black book and…

Jeffrey Wright is superb. The story is a bit more in your face than Holdovers

Ironic, humourous, very enjoyable 8/10.

Watched this recently.

Unexpectedly good film. The reviews are mixed, but I really enjoyed it. Sci-fi with a convincing air to it, and some very good acting. Recommended.
