Barry youâre a fucking whopper. Radical Islam is about as homophobic as radical Christianity. Moderate, progressive Islam is as accepting as moderate, progressive Christianity, or thereabouts anyway - theyâre certainly getting there. Homophobic Christians and homophobic people are just as bad and ignorant, I donât defend them either nor do I compare on a race to the bottom.
The Quran is more of an aggressive book to be fair. It is certainly more old testament than new. While the new testament goes all peace and love they neighbour and try to forgive them and stuff, the parts of the Quran that focus on Mohammed have sections on war and future world domination.
The major difference is though that people have 1) stopped believing in the bible and 2) even those who do, do not take it literally. Even massive god bothers donât really believe Noah had an ark with a super zoo on it.Whereas, a large proportion of Muslims are taught to take a literal interpretation of their instructions manual. Throw into this the new stuff that came about when the Crusades were happening and you have all the chapters any nutcase needs to justify their inhuman actions.
Then people are like âIt is not Muslims or Islam that is the problemâ and Muslims obviously get defensive as people are saying theyâre are all nutters. The problem is, they are the only ones that can really sort it. Not the ordinary guy on the street but the clerics and leaders have to say âtake this killing stuff less literally guys. When we changed Jihad to mean military struggle and not spiritual struggle it was cause we were trying to invade Istanbul. Things have changed now, letâs just chill a bitâ. But they donât, partly cause they feel under attack still from Barry like people, partly cause they are stubborn and partly cause they donât want to cause it is in the bloody book.

Basically, Muslims are like Millwall fans.
In and of itself, thereâs nothing wrong with supporting Millwall. It doesnât make you a hooligan by definition and it obviously doesnât mean that you condone hooliganism. The club itself is actually really active within its local community and does a lot of good.
However, you have to admit that there is a problem within Millwall football club, and, whilst I accept that its extremely difficult to single-handedly stand up to the fringe lunatics, coming out with soppiness like âOh well, all football clubs have hooligans, why arenât you criticising Norwich and Fulham?â is just ridiculously laughable.

Iâm secret into history bear and big part of that is religion. Also, I was Catholic kid in Scotland and had to go to Sunday school when I stayed with my gran who was kind of religious fanatic. This was fashionable in Scotland at the time and each side even had their own football team. I used to ask questions when I heard dumb stuff (so every Sunday) about the big boat and super zoo etc and people used to be furious with me. They never answered the question though so I started thinking âthis is really BS innit, like Santa and the tooth fairyâ. I think more Muslim kids need to start asking questions and maybe have some Santa let down thing so they can start to realise adults are liars.

The term is considered derogatory.â As he directs it at me and I was born in 1954 it is the usual case of Barry finding some words and using them in an order that make some sense to him, but none to the people they are directed at.
He would also have us believe that he is liberal yet slags off liberals at the drop of a hat (or snowflake) and delights in making jokes about sandals. He probably is the first person in history to have a poorer grasp of his language that his new born child.

To be fair to you when Pap thought you were that knob dune you said you werenât and you were a whole different knob but no one believed you. Then you and Pap met for dinner, drinks and a show and he was able to confirm he could see that you were actually a different knob just with the same views.

lol yeah Not Our First Time. We actually explored all that with Barry a long time ago, and it turned out, when he actually laid out all his criteria and stringent qualifications, there were only 17 true Muslims in the entire world. One of them died Monday, so tbf, we could round the rest of them up in a Ford Transit with no need to call the army in at all.
