Oh was it Mail? I read bout this in Sun. Dunno what you mean bout Mail agenda tho, I read that when I visit my Mum and I would say it is mostly aimed at Women. I cant imagine v.many men take the Mail srs.

I will take that Recommend. I will watch it when I am finish with Glow which i am watch on netflix at the moment. I’m not sure if it is femiinist show. I thought it was cos the lead characters is women, but Glow is stand for Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling, which prob makes it more General Interest.

Apparently, 25-45 year old women are voracious readers of the Mail.
I have got slightly mixed feelings. In general, it’s a load of crap when considered in totality, seems designed to appeal to easily swayed, shallow right wingers. No offence to Bearmum, like. There’s also the historical support for Nazis to consider, never an apology offered, and the fact they seem to have put a maniacal egotist in charge.
I cannot quite entirely hate it. First, while it normally leans in a certain way, it has few sacred cows. It will attack the government just as readily as it’ll smear the opposition. Dacre and Cameron did not get on, to the point where Dave tried to get Paul Dacre removed.
Second, I did that project a few years ago where I measured the “commentability” of newspaper articles. The Mail came out on top in terms of discussion freedom. I’d never have believed it before I saw the results, but the Mail pretty much lets you comment on any topic. It was scoring north of 85% in pretty much every category. The Guardian had rates of 2-3% in some areas of coverage.
They’re cunts, and I really don’t like them for that. They also don’t give a fuck about who they upset, and I’m always going to have a grudging respect for that.

GLOW is great fun, and created by women.
The OA is pretty good too. Have you seen it? Another written by and starring a woman.
No idea if that’s got anything to do with feminism other than, yes women can make great entertainment too.

I tried the OA but I gave up pretty quickly. I can’t remember why. I don’t think I knew what the fk was going on, and didn’t really care to find out. Did you watch the 13 Reasons Why? Someone on here told me off for watching Dawson’s Creek bilge, but it traumatised me v.badly cos it was v.sadness what happened to that poor cow.
I’m not sure if that’s the sort of thing you should be sharing in this predominantly male environment.

I have watched a lot of GLOW and have enjoyed it. Unfortunately, last time I watched it I did it on my tablet on a Sunday afternoon, fell akip and now don’t know how much I have watched.
I’d rather have the BBC than not have it and I don’t mind a bit for paying the fee, BBC World, Radio 4 and 5 Live, the doc’s and investigations to go along with the BBC News, better of with it than without.
