ok.
The point is they said £14.95 because of the cost of production.

Which is a total LIE.

Every EPL game is filmed with Commentary by EFL Productions for International broadcast.

So they need £14.95 to run the subscription service?
Who runs that? Dildo Harding?

I’ve never understood why all EPL games aren’t made available in the UK.

OK I get that clubs want to maximise match day revenue, but I’d argue most clubs will have more than their grounds-worth of supporters across the country who’d be willing to pay a reasonable price to watch games.

Was always EFL & Lower leagues that blocked it as it would keep fans from watching their 3pm Saturday games when the big fish were away

Crap argument from them though imho

Which could have been solved with a more equitable sharing of the revenue

It’s the TV contract. It’s collective - clubs do not hold rights to do their own live matches.

The PL makes its dough by selling bits of that bundle to all and sundry. They make more money that way and retain more control.

That’s why it’s the way it is.

Not necessarily right though.

Having every game on the telly has also killed attendances in Italy.

True. Maybe drop the gate prices to get the footfall?

They’d need to go down to about a tenner per head, I reckon.

That is what your average family is prepared to spend on a recurring thing they can’t get elsewhere.

Sounds about right

Binned.
Back to last season version. Been to get games
