Yep. Thought Bertrand had a sloppy game. Plenty of positives though. KWP looks a great prospect. Good goal from Richarlison but we never looked like losing.

Very unlucky not to have won that. As a regular visitor to Goodison, if they’d put men behind the ball like that in front of fans, the atmosphere would have been toxic.

One of the best halves of football I’ve seen from us for a while in the first half.
Second half not so good but I think Everton made it more difficult for us rather than us slacking.
Their goal came from them beating our high press, a worldy of a pass, a worldy of a first touch and a great finish. Can’t do much about those.
Really chuffed to see us playing with real confidence.

I shouldn’t watch motd. I was relatively content with a draw but now I want to sell JWP to Villa next season.
He had a poor game but he’s had a very good season. I think it highly unlikely that he’ll leave, and I’d be gutted if he did.

Well, obviously that’s why JWP took the penalty instead of Ings, so that he could deliberately hit the bar instead of scoring from it. We are Southampton, we have an innate sense of justice and fair play.,
