haha totally agree with him, but telling that to a studio full of Americans is like me telling my neighbour’s cat about the socio-economic hardships of Eastern Europe in the early 1990’s, he won’t care and won’t understand why I’m telling him in the first place.

Its the ‘alongside domestic league participation’ that really irks… if they want to fuck off and play each other ins a franchise league, OK, but the fucking balls to want both the ESL cash and the Pram cash, yet remove opportunities for other clubs to compete… Cunts

To them it has always been a marketing budget. For FSG, Glazers etc it has always been about money.
The entire global City Group plan was about “soft power” as would Saudi & Newcastle. Both already less than popular in UK but this is a global project.
In marketing terms the last 2 days have been an unmitigated disaster.
FSG & Glazers would happily go the next step & walk away from the EPL just for money

There seems to be a number of PL teams (ours amongst them) who haven’t made a statement about this proposal. I would hope they are not waiting to see which way the wind blows before they say anything, although the PL statement was based on a unanimous vote, and perhaps they will make no further statement.
Personally, I would have been happier if the team I have supported/followed since 1964 had come out with a statement straight away.

And tbh surely it was wise to wait until after the meeting when context & content could be included?
