Seeing as France remains part of the EU, they could appeal to the court of human rights about being denied a family life - it’s worked for a fuck load of undesirables in this country
Personally, I think ones vote should only count if you can explain your rationale on the ballot paper. Not so much democratic, but the problem with democracy is that every fuckwit, racist, thick as shit, ignorant dumb fuck gets to vote… and yes this vexes me gven that it will effect the outcome… am I being a little right wing/harsh on this point?
The status quo on people registered already living there wont change a jot, this is law already and can not be changed, would we move 150,000 French born out from the UK in response?
Please can we stop this scare mongering, we’ll always be able to live, work, reside and retire in Europe, how could that change?

To be brutally frank and honest, yes, but it’s a point I will happily concede. Mr GA has the floor…
I’d say the “question everything” mentality is a prudent one, BBB.
Likewise, I can understand some of your concerns.
FWIW, this is probably the most productive conversation I’ve had re: this subject. So cheers for that.
But what if your explaination is a load of bollocks - can we spoil your ballot post-vote?
I’d like to know what will happen if we stay in the EU.
Will there be true reform?
Are we going to accept more members? Turkey? Ukraine? Anyone else?
Will we have an EU army?
Will taxes be harmonized across member states or will we constantly be paying for Greece? Italy? Portugal?
How can we promote the free movement of people whilst building walls and fences and strengthening national borders?
What will the EU look like in 2030?
Still, let’s worry about taking a leap into the Brexit dark shall we?
Very good.
These are legitimate questions. Has anyone said otherwise?
If you want any answers to these to form your opinion more power to you. I’d actively encourage you to ask them and want that information.
Dismissing other legitimate questions about leaving is still daft. Doing this a a petty point scoring thing? Dafter still.
Yep, that should be expected…
I wasn’t dismissing anything KRG. Just pointing out that voting remain because nobody knows what will happen if we leave is a bit daft. Nobody knows what will happen with the EU if we remain. No politician is going to answer those questions coz none of the cunts have a clue! It’s all a leap in the dark!
Fair questions Goaty - and in some respects, you are echoing my point…albeit perhaps from the other side. The only facts we have is that we have no facts and no chrystal balls. My POV is not just stay in, but make sure its not just Fr and DE leading but that we are part of that top table and can be part of a new approach… as I stated above, UK leaving after not really taking part is like a spoilt kid leaving a game half way through, because he is not winning…
Or maybe the kid is leaving coz he keeps getting put in goal whilst the big boys take all the glory up front? The Eu seems to be a German/French team where we get to provide the kit and buy the half time oranges.
Aye, but with Roy’s young Lions, we could be on to something soon? Kind of symbolic

Then when he wanders off on his own gets mugged by the bigger boys (China, Saudi Arabia etc) on his way home.
He is a scientist, but will be unemployed as a house husband from July…
Not ideal is it, relying on expensive court cases for the right to live with his wife and daughter…
Why won’t it change, they’ll have to apply for Visa’s?
That pair of cunts have been bullying us for years KRG! They just leave us a bit of our dinner money to give to Brussells! Maybe it’s time we stood up for ourselves!
True as that may be, these are the people we are being told we will be able to trade with (not that we can’t anyway) if we unshackle ourselves from the EU.
What is standing up for ourselves? Complete isolation?
Why would we be isolated? We have 70 million consumers to offer.
