I found Michael Carrick to be interesting (before he opened his mouth, anyway) when interviewed after the defeat by Hull. He was heartily pissed off. That’s a mentality we don’t possess apart from in VVD (there may be a couple of others but they’re not as obvious so I can’t think of them straight-off, possibly Romeu).
Unlike the other teams we’ve faced most of this year they won’t hold back, they won’t be static or stick to a certain pattern of play e.g. Arsenal and they will want to win. They might very will put Fellaini on Stephens which would be interesting with many possibilities. Their team, club, players, manager are all - as Pap said - of the mindset of this is a game to win and a competition to win and they are there to win it. The build-up from SFC is not that of a winning club nor is the mentality right as you can see from the official site which should be re-named Pravda and I think that that will be the difference. We will have the effect of not having been to Wembley for a while on our side but overall I expect it to be close with them probably to shade it 1-0 because overall their front line is better than ours. I expect the game will have some poor, quiet bits and then will spark into life for a bit before returning back to a boring spectacle.
Therein concludes my application to be a football pundit and get paid lots of money.
I want to win this final bad. But no matter what happens, we’ll always have this moment etched on our collective memories. Worth remembering when the naysayers are out and about:

Everyone talking like this has made me realise how excited i am, now we’ve reached the 1 week mark. Waiting another 7 days is going to be excruciatingly slow, which is weird because at my age a week, relatively speaking is the blink of an eye.
I might make a cup final advent calendar and put little chocolate voodoo mu players in it. Each morning i can get up, open the relevant date and bite the legs off the fuckers.

Studies have shown that white people are 50% more likely to misidentify black people in identity parades. Same stat in reverse, too.
The evidence must be racist
